Definitely the poorest run business in Fairplay. They should really invest in an inkjet printer and laminator instead of scattering the store with paper signs that say things like “No public restrooms!!!!l”, “No cash back!!!”, “This register is broken!!!” Etc. and treating paying customers like they are doing THEM a favor by walking through the door. We’re not expecting a Target store level service but bringing a cow bell for service just to get scoured at by a cashier is anything but ideal. Dollar General is definitely a step up, drive the extra 1/2 mile.

Great prices when I need that, and routinely carries all the quality essentials, same as Walmart. I shop here regularly and appreciate that FD is in South Park! Its the only place that carries Coke Zero (Dollar General does not.)

It was nasty and there was stuff everywhere and it was blocking the aisles and there also was broken glass on the floor. The people who worked there had no class and every other word was a cuss words.

Family dollar truck drivers do not show up early the store manager will not take you so don’t put that extra effort on showing up on time here.
Last time the store manager smelled like alcohol.

We have been faithful patrons of the Fairplay Family Dollar since they opened. We have experienced the ups and downs of this store and the challenges of the employees and managers. Yesterday, December 6, 2022, I was in the store for the first time in quite a while after being out of state. I was amazed at the great condition of the store! The shelves were organized and fully stocked with care. No carts of merchandise were blocking the aisles. All employees were busy working hard to stock shelves and wait on customers with focus. The floors were clean from recent mopping. The manager, William (who I assume is the manager), asked if he could help me and I let him know how proud he and his employees should be of this great turnaround. Fairplay and South Park should also be proud of this store and I encourage locals and non locals to patronize this store. Well done!
