Comparado al año anterior, estaba vez fue una mala experiencia, antes las casas eran decoradas por dentro y se sentía el susto ahí dentro, ahora las casas están selladas, el recorrido dura menos, menos personal asustando y el precio es el mismo(?)

I had a fantastic time at Field of Screams Maryland! From the start, the atmosphere was immersive, with plenty of bonfires around the grounds, offering a warm spot to sit and soak in the spooky vibe between haunts. The check-in staff was super friendly, and I noticed they interacted warmly with everyone, which made for a welcoming start.

As for the actors roaming around the grounds, they did an awesome job! They stayed in character the entire time, and while a few jump scares were up close, any accidental touches felt like part of the thrill rather than anything inappropriate—it’s all about how you approach those tight corners! The 1.5-mile trail was packed with actors hidden in all the right spots, even compensating for the shacks that were closed, which kept the suspense high and the surprises coming.

The snacks were delicious, though I do wish the marshmallow bags had just a few more marshmallows! On the other hand, the carnival games didn’t quite match the excitement of the rest of the event; they were pretty pricey and not as engaging as I’d hoped. If they added some unique twists to make the games more fun, it’d be a big plus.

The ticket prices are on the higher side, but considering the huge staff and the scale of the production, it’s understandable. Overall, I’d say it was a solid experience with just a few small areas for improvement. I loved every minute and had a great time getting into the Halloween spirit! Though, hey—would’ve been even better if it was free!

We went to the winter city lights hosted at field of screams this year (followed link provided to leave review) and it was an amazing experience for my family (2 kids-12 & 10). They LOVED the snow tubing and were able to ride as much as the want. The tubing staff were so fun and helpful. It was a bit pricey and with how many people were there we had to cut the trail short to experience more. So if you are going I would recommend an earlier ticket time. We went at 6:30 and stayed until they shut down around 9:15.

The “bonfire area” was really just those outdoor heaters you see at restaurants to keep the outdoor dining open. I wish it was a true bonfire experience and we could’ve bought smores kits from concessions.

The free face painting was a lovely touch. A lot of places for photo ops. Merch and glow toys for sale at the concessions tables. And the food was good!

the only thing we didn’t do was the axe throwing which I’m glad we didn’t pay extra for since we ran out of time and the kids seemed to want to do the tubing for longer anyways.

I always love winter city lights. It’s always a wonderful display and experience that has made me come back the past three years. I just wish they bring the bonfires back!!! Those were a nice touch
