Excellent customer service! From the moment I walked in and had a specialized need I was helped by an employee who called another employee that found exactly what I needed to solve my problem. You certainly don't get this kind of service at those big box stores in the big cities. I highly recommend this place and their awesome employees. Gunnison Colorado definitely has a winner!

I have been doing business with Fulmer's Ace hardware for about 20 years. Have always had a great working experience with the staff. I had a recent issue and the owner more than exceeded my expectations in solving it. A great place to do business.

Best selection in the lower 48. Found the stainless screw we couldn’t find at hardware stores between Sarasota and Gunnison. Also bought knives & socks.

Little over priced. Sad you have to pay $8 for a can of spray paint? Same can is across town at Walmart for under $5. Wish they would bring back the rental business. Now we want to rent a floor sander, gotta go to Montrose. New owner is milking this town for all he can. Great friendly staff. Prices are just too high all over the store imo. Update: 9/10/21, today a needed a tube of g/e silicone.... $9.99? Rediculous! I buy hundreds of tubes a year, from Walmart to Home Depot to Ace, not any more. It's $5 overpriced. That's $1000 a year it costs more to buy here. Insane! See the pics. I included a Walmart pic of same product, same day. Rodent Stopper in the spray can? $15.99, it's $9.99 at tractor supply.

Despite the friendly staff, I noticed a minor issue that prevented me from giving a perfect 5-star rating. During my visits, I didn't receive assistance in finding the specific product I had asked for, other than providing the isle. However, I still believe that the staff's friendliness deserves recognition, and I'm overall satisfied with my experience, hence the 4-star rating. I recently visited Ace Hardware and wanted to share my updated review from my most recent visit this week. Overall, I must say that I am quite satisfied with my experience. The staff at Ace Hardware is incredibly friendly and helpful, which made my shopping trip a pleasant one. It's always a relief to be greeted with a smile and receive assistance when needed. However, I do have to mention that the store tends to get quite busy, especially during peak hours. This can make finding a parking spot a bit challenging at times. It would be great if Ace Hardware could address this issue and provide more parking options for its customers. Nevertheless, despite the parking situation, I will continue to be a loyal customer of Ace Hardware. The reason being that they consistently have a wide range of products and supplies that I need for my projects. The staff's knowledge and willingness to assist have always been top-notch, and that's something I truly appreciate. In conclusion, despite the occasional parking inconvenience, I highly recommend Ace Hardware for all your hardware and home improvement needs. The friendly staff and their commitment to customer service make it a worthwhile place to shop.

I love the store and the staff. But not the oarking lot. The Fullmer's always used to seal the parking lot at least once a year. The new owners don't. The parking lot is a mess of pot holes. Now it needs patching. You get the product wholesale. Why not take care of your parking lot?
