I love going to Gaslight for all my costume needs! Their costumes are very affordable, and so are the rentals! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly! Renee was able to help me find a costume to rent for my movie premiere, as I am very small so it can be hard to find things that fit! I loved the costume and it fit perfectly!

This place is amazing! They have a great inventory covering a wide variety of needs, including makeup and accessories.

I went there for a last minute requirement for a costume for an early christian character for a church presentation.
Shirley (who has been doing this for 50 years!) assisted me in figuring out what would work best. We tried different looks and colors and it came out perfect.

I rented rather than purchased and I couldn’t be more pleased.

They support the related gaslight theater so they really know what they’re doing.

If there is another costume shop in Tucson, I’m not aware of it. And this is the first time I have ever used gas light so if there’s another one out there I hope somebody tells me about it so that I don’t have to go back.

It was a last minute thing, so I didn’t want to be picky and I knew that I wasn’t going to have a lot of options. So I’m not upset about the lack of options. What I’m upset about is the quality of what I was given relative to how much they charged me

It was a shirt, a vest and a gun holster and for those three things I paid $58. They are welcome to charge as much as they want. It’s a private business, of course. But the quality of the items were really low. If you’re going to charge me $15 for renting a shirt, then I would expect the shirt to be clean and ironed. It wasn’t. I even pointed this out to them, The girl just sort of shrugged. The vest was also kind of old and while not dirty, it was definitely threadbare. And the holster had plenty of spaces for shells but for mysterious reasons only had two empty shells. I pointed that out to them and they said they don’t have any more shells. And I said to her for $28 rental in the holster, you would expect it to have all the shells, and again she just sort of shrugged.

Regarding the $15 for the shirt, a couple of months ago I had to rent a tuxedo at top hat tuxedo and somehow miss placed the shirt and they only charge me $15 to replace an entire shirt. The deposit gaslight wanted on their merchandise at was three times the rental cost which means they wanted a $45 deposit on an old dirty shirt. The whole thing just kind a left a sour taste in my mouth.

We have both rented and purchased costumes and accessories from The Gaslight Costume Shoppe for concerts and special events and just could not be more pleased! It is great only have to stop at one place for EVERYTHING! Wigs, makeup, all of it. We would highly recommend the Gaslight Costume Shoppe - for Halloween but also all year long! They have some amazing finds in there!

This shop is the absolute best! I recently rented a costume from here for a wedding; the costume is fantastic if anyone is looking for a pope ensemble.
My attempts to return said costume have been met with unforseen twists and turns and sincerely appreciate the understanding and compassion given by Amy.

Staff here are amazing and so helpful! They have a ton of costumes and accessories! You would be surprised how much they fit in their store lol. They have dressing rooms so you can try on any and everything which is always a huge plus. Lots of theater and Halloween makeup too which was the reason for my most recent visit. This costume shop is a must stop by and see kinda place even when you don't need anything.

Amazing customer service! I messaged them via their website (email) around 9:30pm asking about folklorico dresses. I was not expecting a response until the following business day, so I was pleasantly surprised to receive a response 10 minutes later. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I was looking for, but they were able to point me in the direction of a company that highly recommended.
