The Scaregrounds is a one-of-kind experience in our very own Humboldt County! I’ve always wanted to go to Hollywood Horror Nights but it’s just so expensive and so far away. I was lucky to find the Scaregrounds and have a much more affordable, but equally fun time. So excited for this year!

This was so cool! Halloween seems to have taken over Ferndale and the fair grounds. Griffin Loch’s Scream-A-Torium has captured something magical for those that love Halloween. Great food, drinks, music and 4 haunts to explore. The Lost Coast Killer haunt was next level, so creepy ?. 10/10 will be back.

Even larger this year (2024)!! Scary haunted houses, themed decor from the moment you walk through the front gate and to the event space towards the back of the fairgrounds. The bars are super cool with Halloween themed drinks and I was able to get one in a blood bag! (First time for everything!!) Cute little pumpkin patch area, a selection of food trucks and dessert options. Hot drinks available as well as Ferndale can be a little cold at times. Excited to attend again closer to Halloween as there are certain bands I want to see on their main stage. Great price for all the Scaregrounds offers! Also visit Ferndale Main Street earlier in the day to see all of the decorations up town. It’s like Halloween town right now!!

I have went to the screamatorium each year and have watched it grow and get better each time! The atmosphere is thrilling and set up for everyone to have a good time! VIP tickets are worth getting the additional benefits! I can’t wait to see what is in store for this year!

I had the most ausome experience last year. The mazes are incredible. There is live music as well at "Frank's Place". I came hungry and I'm glad I did, planty of good eats.

It was lame last year don't even think it'll be worth going this year, if I'm not gonna get actually scared it's pretty lame especially when they have chain link fence set up with strobe lights and call that a "haunt".
