We discovered Grumbles, when passing by. So we checked them out. We parked along the street, and entered through one of the many entrances. This "store", consists of two buildings, plus a cafe', as well as multiple areas outside. They're hours on the sign were, Monday through Saturday, 10am-5pm. Sunday, 11am-3pm.
I will say that we were surprised not only with the deceptive appearing size of Grumbles. But also by the variety of different types of items Grumbles carries. We walked around outside before venturing inside. Outside had lots of plants, yard ornaments and yard art. Inside the buildings had the indoor types of items.
The main building is an older two story house, with many rooms and hallways filled with goods. I could say that they were jammed packed, but that makes it sound over crowded. Whereas Grumbles has almost too much, but not to the point over crowded. I loved a lot of the antique items upstairs. Many of them reminded me of my past.
The second building is more of a women's clothing boutique. That in itself was larger than it looked from the outside. Then there was a cafe', outside the main house on the side. They were not open when we visited on a Monday. They are open Tuesday, through Saturday, 10am-3pm.
I can say we found Grumbles to be a great way to spend some time, whether you find something to take home or not.

Outstanding ! Absolutely beautiful stores linked together. From the lovely antique store to the expansive nursery with colorful ceramic pots a “must see” if you are here for our river or just having a vacation. Boutiques that delight with their beautiful clothing and pleasant shopkeepers ready to help. Don’t miss the “Sweeties Cafe and Tea House” a delightful experience for all ages.
But, first stop at “Grumbles”. You don’t want to miss that. All of the above you find in an unpretentious few blocks of beautiful 100+ year old homes. Enjoy. Take your time and have fun!

Amazing place with a huge variety of plants, garden decor and statues, antiques, jewelry, books...you name it! Multiple building and a Cafe (open until 3 PM).

I took well over a hundred pictures and still wasn't able to capture it all. This place is amazing and magical. I felt like I was at a shop straight out of a Harry Potter movie. I absolutely fell in love with the house.

We visited today and I’m so sad to say that while the house was beautiful and I loved getting to walk through, that was really the highlight of this location. I would not consider this to be an antique store. There were very few antique items and more mixed will small boutique sellers items and LOTS of Turkish lamps, which I don’t believe to be antique or vintage, but marked up Amazon lamps. If you are looking for a treasure trove, this is not the place for you. I hate to leave poor reviews and hurt small businesses, but I guess there are certain antiques for everyone and I just want to make sure that people know before they go, that this had very little antique items.

Made a trip in search of a large piece of exterior wall art for my mother's house. What a mind-blowing experience it turned out to be.

Grumbles House is just slightly off the well-traveled path of FL State Route 41, in Dunellon, FL. This former turn of the century, two-story, stately home has been transformed into an oddity shop of epic proportions! The adage, "if they don't have it then you don't need it", definitely applies here. Everything from trinkets & baubles, to lawn & house ornaments, to plants and art can be found here...and much more. It's nearly overwhelming, and I love it.

Did I mention the quaint little cafe'? Because there's a quaint little cafe' off to the side of the main house, down a pathway, though all the large trees & lawn ornaments. I didn't eat this trip, but I really wanted to!

You'll also find a smaller home converted into a clothing/jewelry/antique boutique on the same property, but that's another review for another time.

We just absolutely fell in love with this place. We bought some pretty cool stuff. They have so many unique items to purchase. Then the Unique Sweetie Cafe and Tea House next door is one of a Kind. Great Food, great fun, great atmosphere. These places are a must visit!

This is such an amazing place !. I bought a few nice plants and a few items from within the house and I will certainly be back soon to pick up more things, just totally awesome, the staff is totally awesome, absolutely no complaints from me.
