We rented their Pavillion for a graduation party and couldn't be happier with doing so. They had everything clean & prepped for us to set-up. It kept us dry when a storm swept in during our party. It had tons of power outlets, & lights to party into the evening. It was great!

This Moose has a fantastic new president so whatever I write below may change for the better at any time moving forward. Not that there is anything to really complain about now.

My thoughts

Great food and beer prices.

6 decent pool tables, of which a few need to be leveled and refurbished, but they are free so...

Limited food choices are tasty.

Hours are a little fuzzy as the place closes early if it's a slow night.

Overall the Moose by it's nature has an older more subdued crowd. No music unless there is entertainment going on, or unless you're willing to pay for it. Further, unlike every other place around where I see a fight a month if not more, I haven't personally seen any chest bumping or arguments let alone stupid bar fights the times I've been in. It's a very peaceful place for the most part. Finally, for all you single folks, especially guys, the moose is just not a pickup bar. Of course be ready for some very friendly conversations, but don't plan on leaving with anyone unless your dropping them off on your way home. And by them I mean a drunk dude over 50. So if you're lonely and looking I promise there are better options only a few miles north and south. Lol

I attended a reception in the ball room and it was very nice. Place was very clean and so were the restrooms. Staff was very friendly and polite. The bartender was polite and did a good job mixing drinks. I didn't get to see the main bar but my dad did and said it was nice. Food was Very GOOD and delicious. The fried chicken wasn't dry at all it was GREAT. So was all the other food. It's handicap accessible to.

I know it’s members only but they treat the pool league non members like garbage they can’t order food or drinks and it’s a very uncomfortable experience they give red Barron pizza from the grocery store and on top of that it’s burnt and it cost 7.00

Not a kid friendly place like it tries to portray. It's ran by drunks and con artists that just want to take your money. They give nothing back to their members and only help when it is beneficial for themselves. I wish this place would go back to being family oriented. All you will find here is pool players and drunks. Don't bring your wife in there either cause a officer or member or both will try to force themselves on your wife/girlfriend.
