George & Cara are two of the best service advisors I have ever had the pleasure of working with throughout all of the vehicles I have owned. They both kept me in the loop with what was needed with my vehicle & made sure every concern I had was addressed & repaired. My car truly runs better than it has since I bought it which was something I was ever going to be able to experience, but this wonderful service department made it happen. And of course thank you to the tech(s) as well who worked on my car, you did a phenomenal job. I wouldn't even consider bringing my car anywhere else other than Harte VW.

Scheduled an appointment for an oil change. Called me and asked if I’d like to have some warranty work done while I was there, estimated an hour and a half of work. I was there from 8:30-11:40. Said they noticed an oil leak, ok, diagnosis without even fixing the problem was $250. To tell me that there’s a small leak in my oil pan. The cost to repair is upwards of $1,000. All of that is water under the bridge until I got to my car and started inspecting the inside. Not only did they make a mess climbing in my backseat for god knows whatever reason, they also smashed and broke the small vent that allows A/C to the backseat. I go back inside, point out the issue to the tech who worked on my car, claims it wasn’t him. Brother, you left a dirty boot print where you smashed my vent. Go back inside, again the tech, Nick, denies having messed up my car, and the “manager” Dylan takes his side and dismisses my concerns. I asked for proof of my bringing up this issue in the future so they cannot claim it was my fault, and was vehemently refused multiple times. Finally he says he can print me out something if I wait an additional 20 minutes, but considering I was already over double the time estimated there and have work later, I had to leave. He claims I will be called as soon as the part shows up. Extremely unprofessional behavior by everyone involved, as the wrongdoing should've been admitted immediately and offered to rectify the situation. Instead I left alienated, $420 short for an oil change and a tire rotation, and with no promise of future respect for my property of me as a customer.

I had an outstanding experience this afternoon at Volkswagen of Meriden. My salesman, Bruce, delivered exceptional service and demonstrated extensive knowledge about the vehicle I purchased. Frank, the floor manager, was equally impressive, offering a fair trade-in value and meeting my price point for the new car. Stephen, the finance manager, and George, the service manager, were both friendly and provided excellent service. Thank you, Harte Volkswagen, for your exemplary staff and leadership. After visiting three other dealerships earlier in the day, none of them came close to the level of service I received here.

He gathered all the info he needed to help us make a good choice for our driving need and financial needs. Along the way we met a lot of the other staff who is so great. Thank you to George, Dylan, and Cara in service you have been excellent. Thank you Ralph for beginning this whole process for us. Christine and Steve in finance helped us get the best price and deals. Frank you have a great team in the store! Usually buying a car is boring but there was laughs and good conversation all around. We love our VW Tiguan that we took home today 10/21. Thank you all!!

Sweet Control

First took well over an hour to determine the issue, then to tell me it needed a new water at the cost 2206.22 plus tax and a new actuator at a cost of 873.33. Well if I purchase the actuator it's 108.00 from VW, water pump is 465.00 from VW so how do you justify at 700.+ for a part and 1500.00+ for another, and that's not including labor or tax, so about 4000,00, seriously. I purchased my car from them but will never go back, not even to buy.
Stay away, find another place. As a customer you are not valued, if I could I would fire the service team. Just because I'm a woman I'm certainly not stupid, I price checked everything before going there.
