I want to very much thank the entire HCA staff for helping me through a serious PTSD exacerbation. I have been experiencing these attacks off and on for almost 20 years, and I now have them only every two years or so. I have learned if I can get two days dosage of .5 Xanax, I am able to get back to my baseline much quicker. The provider heard me out, empathized, and agreed that was the best plan. And I was on my way feeling heard and cared for.

This is the exact OPPOSITE of how NAS Urgent Care treated me, a multiple deployed 22 year veteran. I went there first because my provider works at NAS and I did not want to look like I was drug seeking by going somewhere else (I work in medical and this is not uncommon). The NAS ancillary staff were as always very friendly and compassionate. The doc refused to see me—even to see me to assess and hear me out and when he knew I was having a major anxiety event. Or at least I hope that was passed on to him.

His reasoning was because they do not provide behavioral health care to retirees. You don’t have to be in behavioral health to give a patient Xanax/sedative to help them through a major mental event, especially when the patient has been dealing capably with this for almost 20 years and would have valuable input to provide. This is twice in a row this has happened to me at NAS Urgent Care. I did not Get upset this time, because the staff were great and they did not deserve any guff from me. They were doing what they were told.

All I got to say is, no wonder much of America could care Less about Feds getting fired because many of them have experienced similar apathetic treatment from federal employees. Or maybe this was a Naval Officer who was too busy to bothered. Either way, you are disappointing.

The absolute worst ER experience I have ever had in my life. The staff, nurse and doctor were the rudest I have ever dealt with. Very shocked at the level of treatment I received which was bare minimum as if I didn’t have insurance or couldn’t pay for services. Because I was in pain (but never asked for medicine) and they couldn’t find anything wrong (because they didn’t try) they tested me like a junkie who was just trying to get a script for narcotics. And I don’t even take pain medications. I would advise anyone who’s in need of compassionate care to NEVER end up here. Take me word for it.

The staff is always nice, caring and efficient!!! I would drive a little further even in an emergency to make sure I get this level of care. I would like to acknowledge my nurse during my stay. I cannot find her name on my paperwork but she was so caring and super efficient.

We took my 94 year old mom to this location. We got right in and the nurse and doctor evaluated her quickly. Everyone from the security person at the front desk to the nurses and doctor to the very kind lady on the registration kiosk were just great!

Both the RN and doctor on duty were insanely rude. As soon as they walked me to a room they began asking me why I came to that ER when I had a related procedure performed at another hospital a week ago. When I informed them I lived in the area (not like that matters) the nurse proceeded to lecture me about the continuance of care indicating that they would not be able to see my records or send my records to the other institution and coming there and/or jumping around to different facilities is like starting over each time. I'm sorry I was having cardiac related issues and went to the closest ER as instructed and didn't think that it mattered where I sought emergency care for heart attack like symptoms much less driving over 25 minutes with these symptoms because he's concerned about continuance of care like we don't live in a time where records can be sent immediately if needed. Then they emailed me the bill as they were removing my IV. Never again!

They took care of me right away. They were so nice and went way out of there way to explain everything. There was only one Dr there that day, but the little wait was worth it. The Dr took the time to explain everything and every question I had. I would go back there any time I need it.

I don’t usually do surveys, unless I am happy and satisfied. I don’t like to be negative, but the care I receive was horrible. I waited for an hour and a half to get a room. I was understanding about the time. I was told they had to place the more problem patients before me. That is understandable as well, but my condition was not asked about in detail, or if I was ok. I didn’t make a big deal, I told them that I understand. Once I got to an exam room, I waited 2 hours to be seen. I thought they had forgotten about me. So I politely stepped out the room to ask if they knew how much longer, due to not feeling well. I was told it would be a while. The young lady said it with no care or sympathy. She said we have one doctor, and lots of patients. I went back into the room to wait on the doctor. It took about 30 minutes after the lady told me it would be a while. Once the doctor came in, she did absolutely nothing. She did not even examine me. She told me to breathe in and out while she listened with her stethoscope. She then says it’s Covid or flu due to how I was feeling. I asked for meds to soothe my cough, chest, or the pain. I was told I could take something over the counter. I had been sick for a week, and did not know what to take. The doctor then told me there was no point in doing an x-ray because we may not see anything. I was admit about being given something to help me feel better. The doctor said she would not prescribe anything, I will just have to wait it out. The doctor left out, she was in the room with me for no more than 2 or 3 minutes. I stepped out of the room again, about 10 minutes later, and asked to speak with someone so that I wouldn’t be charged for care I did not receive. They got a hold of the doctor. The doctor gave back in the room, she said she would give me meds to make me not cough, and she had other patients to see. I didn’t push the issue because there was nothing left for me to say. I then did my insurance information and was discharged. I hate to be negative, but it was honestly the worsts care I have ever received. I work in cardiology as a medical assistant. I know it gets busy, and things happen in the medical field, but the care was just heartless. My first time ever having Covid, and I chose the wrong ER. I got absolutely no help, or care.

This past Thanksgiving 2024, I arrived at this emergency room with a extremely high heart rate - I was surrounded by passionate & caring individuals who went above and beyond. I truly feel they saved my life that day. From the gentleman working the front to the Drs. And nurses in the back; I couldn't speak highly enough if I tried. A special Thank you to the gentleman who held my hand each and every time I needed it and having such a calming effect in a very stressful time. I want to say his name is Mark. Thank you all for everything you do. Warm holiday wishes from me to all of you.
