Food is generally pretty good. Service is lousy. Wanted to order a cheese steak today at 11:00 am. Place was not busy as there was only one other customer who had already ordered.
At least three people behind the counter looked in my direction but did not acknowledge me. One looked directly at me and walked away. I would rate the food higher if it were possibly for me to rate the service with a negative number. Since it appears that I am not valued I will take my business elsewhere even if it means that I have to drive farther. Can’t wait for a fast food restaurant to open in the area.

I've compared a lot of their produce pricing against other stores. They often are having good sales but even some items seem to always be on sale compared to other stores.

Honey Crisp apples for instance are regularly sold at $1.99 a pound. At acme they might be on sale for $3 a pound.

The blueberries regularly are sold for 50 cents more than BJs but most recently Hockers had a special on them at $2.99, that's like $3 off compared to BJs regular price.

The customer service is good here and the produce is well managed you can always see someone doing quality control. Well at least until their produce employees leave around 5pm with everything stocked as best they can.

Food from Deli was iffy and it was obvious some things were past their prime so to speak. Store looked like it was stuck in 1980. I only rlly gave this place 1-star because the vacuums at the car wash cost money. Every other car wash I’ve been to those were complimentary. Do not confuse this review as one for the GE Hockers or the sporting goods and hardware store, both of those locations are great and I would recommend.

I am frequently surprised that this locally owned store seems to always have everything we need. Quite often they feature sales or specials which are a bonus paired with the great customer services I always receive.
I don't mind paying a few cents more when a place if staffed with adequate and friendly people.

So came into the store after ordering fried chicken, mashed Potatos with beef gravy and Mac & cheese. Called the order in, they said 20 minutes. I gave them 25 minutes before coming in. Once inside and at the deli, there was only one person in front of me. I paid for the meal and waited another 20 minutes, unacceptable wait for this. I saw people milling around in the back, two or three other employees in the kitchen. I thought they were making my order fresh. When I mentioned that I was waiting quite awhile, and two other persons who were behind me got served first, I mentioned this to the older woman. She then proceeded to go behind the counter and got the food, however this was not what I thought I was waiting for. Total disappointment on my end. When I took it home, found that the chicken was ok but not the best I had from elsewhere and the mac & cheese was plain with no taste and the potatos tasted like instant potatoes. From proximity to this location, I would be best served from Anthony's on OC or Southside deli in Ocean Pines. Worth the drive, but never here again.

I absolutely love this grocery store complex. They always have so many quality items in the store that I wouldn't even be able to begin to list them. The staff is always very friendly and very helpful. They also have a hardware section, lawn and garden section, and an automatic care wash. On the other side of the building they have a convenience store/deli that's awesome food. They have gas pumps to fill up your car if needed. But, in my opinion, the best part of the whole place, not to take any accolades from the rest of the complex, is the Hocker's BBQ trailer that is parked in the lot. If you go to the supermarket, I would highly suggest you do yourself a favor and buy a sandwich from the BBQ trailer. (I'm not certain of their business hours). They have pulled pork, brisket, pit beef, chicken, hot dogs, tacos, and more. Everything I've ever bought at any one of Hocker's businesses has been superb. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
