I have worked sales my entire life. Absolutely deplorable customer service. Condescending and with the absolute utmost unwillingness to even help. Was even told “I can’t help you” after I described exactly what I wanted. I guess if you are in the business of selling something, yet want to actually sell nothing, follow this persons business model.

I walked in with cash willing to spend a fortune for the right goods and services, you didn’t take it. You lose to your competition.

Good luck with your boxes of hats and your bad attitude. You’ll need it. Never get a penny from me though.

These folks are FANTASTIC. I screwed up my hat size order and was able to give them a call and it was fixed right away. Unbelievable rates for Tilley - I think I paid $30 or more from another store in person several years ago and lost my beloved hat down a river. Was able to find the type, color, and exact size I needed from this store. If you are looking for a quality hat dealer that ships, this is the one.

Good Customer Service and a Nice Hat (internet order)
I called Bruce and he took the time to look through his inventory for some specific criteria and he found me the right hat!
He also made sizing recommendations, because like shoes, different manufacturers and product lines can vary in their stated vs actual sizing.
Purchased the Canadian-made-version of the Tilley T4MO-1 Organic Cotton Hiker's Hat in Olive.

Wow! First time customer, ordered a hat online early Saturday morning and received it in the mail before lunch following Monday! Had almost immediate follow-up email from owner confirming order. Item was packaged in a sturdy box and upon inspection was in excellent condition. It doesn't get any better than this, I have found my headgear supplier for life, excellent job Holland Hats! Thank you!

Update! Ordered second hat on 6/27 and won't receive it until 7/2 which is an average delivery time. I guess my first order was an anomaly. Still happy with this business!

This entire order was a complete mess. Never again will I order a hat online. Signature was also required. Be forewarned. So I had to drive five miles to the post office as I wasn't home when they delivered. Even signing the slip they didn't deliver and after a week I finally went in to the PO. They couldn't find it. It 'might' be in-route on the truck. So I had to go back a second day when they could find it. I've had items twice the price of that piece of felt delivered without a signature, and have had two different hat companies ship items to me with the 'signature required' bit.

I did take out my frustration on them in an email. They in turn took out their frustration with my frustration, etc., until both of us wanted to take up swords. I have my own business, and even if a customer went off on me, I would never return the insult. Oh well...

So while the item is in transit back to them as a return (it also looked horrible on me and never again will order a 'foldable' hat. It doesn't hold it's shape, is completely flimsy, and I really don't care who makes it), we'll see what happens.

8/3: To their credit they did refund the purchase, however continued to email and call to berate the entire process. Never again will I deal with these trolls.

Bruce Holland is such a nice, friendly man who gave me the best customer service possible. There was a slight problem with my order (USPS mix up, not merchant fault), and he worked with me to rectify problem.
The hat prices are better here than any place else I’ve seen. I received my new Bordalino hat today and I’m very happy with the quality hat at an amazing price. It’s my third time I bought a hat from Holland Hats. If I need a fourth, I’ll look here first.
