This is probably my least favorite thrift store. The prices are never consistent and some of the highest I've seen.

Also, most employees seem stressed and like they don't want to be there. I've been there a couple times near closing and they turn ALL the lights off 15-20 minutes ahead of closing time, and then in no uncertain terms it's made known that you need to pay and leave, even though the store is technically still open.

Disappointing to know it's attached to such a good cause.

This is one of the nicest thrift stores I’ve been to. Very clean,well organized and some really good deals. I visited 3 times during my 2 weeks in Cape Coral and found some great treasures.

I used to shop at the Hope Chest till it closed in North Fort Myers and the best thing about it was I found everything I wanted. The bad thing about the Hope Chest was moving so far away. I would like to keep shopping there but since you are so far away I won't shop there. There are other thrift stores that I can shop at.

I always find amazing pieces here from clothes, jewelry, decor and arts and crafts. The reviews on here that mention them closing early is very true if it says 4pm… do not expect to enter at 3:45 even if it’s super quick- they’re already closed. I had went shopping there one day- saw a piece that needed approval from someone I was trying to buy it for, I left the store and waiting in parking lot till I heard back from the person. There was only 8 minutes left till they closed and when I went up to the doors they were already trying to lock them up but I told them no sorry I am going inside and getting the item I want. I did so and checked out and left under 1 minute. They need to be more lenient with that cause that one purchase was for a $30 jacket. I understand the money doesn’t go straight to their pocket but if they want to keep a job there they need to keep business there! Kicking people out well before closing time (even if you personally don’t think someone should only have 7 min to shop) they could be quickly going in there for something. You just never know. It’s as easy as letting people shop and do what they came for, and once it is closing time at 4pm/5 that’s when you go to lock the doors and walk around the shop telling people we’re closed now. Sorry you can’t go home at 4pm sharp, that extra 15 min will never kill you!
