A single passenger train during the day, and FIVE freight
trains while we tried to sleep that blew the whistle so much it seemed they were doing it for spite. Fantastic if you’re already deaf, otherwise drive west a few miles for *free* dispersed camping. We stayed because of the walking distance to the hot springs and public house but it wasn’t worth it, *even if it was free.* Of course, it didn’t help that there was a piece of rebar sticking up in the parking area that I tripped over and *dislocated my shoulder!!* The park said they’ll get that fixed as of October 2023, but for the aforementioned reasons, we’ll never be back. Looks like a great place for day use, a picnic, and river access however.

I didn’t know it was a campground. The baths are excellent. It’s a clean place a little hokey. Definitely not your high-end luxury premium experience but it’s really just all about the excellent waters. They have really very strong, sulfur baths 102 to 104, they have moderate sulfur baths at similar temperatures or lower temperatures. They also have a magnesium pool, which has very nice warm water that is full of magnesium sulfate and you feel very boy intended. It is wonderful for the skin. It’s certainly rejuvenated and refreshed my body.

The only reason I didn't give this campground 5 stars was the proximity to the railroad tracks. Nice area with river access and potable toilets.

Beautiful campsite. The trains going through at all hours isn't great but being next to the Colorado River and the hot springs makes up for it!

This place definitely has potential. And it is great that the town offers this campground. But the place is a dump.
•$20 for the world's smallest campsite
•No water
•Only porta potties that hadn't been cleaned all summer
•Day use guests that drive through the campsite starting around 5am
•The camp hosts let their dogs run around all over through other people's sites

The train runs right next to the campground and blows it's horns excessively loud, but I can't fault the campground for that. Just something to be aware of.

There is a free area to camp next to the bridge 3 miles west.

We agree with Paul Vetrone. The campground is temporary closed. We visited Sept. 9th 2021. The town council is debating whether they will reopen in 2022 or permanently make this day use only. We hope they choose to reopen. There are not many campgrounds in this area and it would be a shame to lose such a nice campground. We can only hope the locals decide to keep this place open!

15 dollars a night for this Campground? Train track crossing literally 30 yards close from camp site one to the last, trains honking there Horns all times of the day, for me it it was 3 trains before 12am and two more between 5 and 7am ...LOUD TRAIN HORNS GUYS!!

Tried to stay the night while biking across the country but it is only Day Use Only until they find a camp host. Suggest going three miles west to the free camping before the bridge.
