We have just recently moved to Hudson and were thinking about buying a home here, not anymore. There are no thriving business besides the loves they offer no cable services so you can only get satellite which is too expensive and crappy service, you are only aloud one Trash service so they charge you an arm and a leg, I have neighbors who cant get trash because we have to have that one company and they cant afford it. I received a $50.00 parking ticking for parking in front of my house because my tire was touching the sidewalk not on it touching it. Only one internet allowed so they jack up that price as well. Now I found out that they are catching cats, really . In the sate of Colorado Cats have free roam, not to mention that with all land around our town with those stray cats gone we will have a nasty pest infestation, and the people who own cats will have to worry. They tell me put a collar or chip, well for some like me my pets are my family and collars are dangerous for cats as they can hang themselves, also I do not believe in putting at foreign object in my animals, and what about the people who cant afford to chip? and even if you had the chip they wont know until they take it to the shelter and then you have to pay a fee to get your pet out. I am outraged. I have came out of my house twice and found my gas cap hanging out as someone was trying to steal gas. This town is no place to live they are not doing anything to get it thriving, the Hudson Locker is awesome I will continue to give them my business for many years.

07-31-2017 I stopped at the Love's travel center off of I-76... I neede a shower after a hot day on the road, gotten sweaty smelling funcky..
So I pull in looking for a place to park,
All filled up... so I pull to the side of the drive leaving the Love's and park...
Away from any fire hydrants, yet in a marked no parking area... so I go in and get a shower, afterwards I thought to head on down to my pickup location for the morning .. well then I see Ben's Brick oven pizza, so I walk over and purchased a pizza and salad.. I enjoyed it.. I actually carried the food over to Love's ate it there. Then bought a few items there when finished eating. So I go back to my truck and I must say,
There on my window, is a $50 citation...
So, I spent a total of $75.00 at Hudson,Co. Last night...
$50.00 to the town of Hudson...
Must say, you all spend alot on No Parking signs in your small abode..
The food was good, the people friendly..
The town council, I really dont know them.. but with all the no parking signs ina drive out area, that is wide enough for three vehicles if not four,
Well wait a moment, what am I about to say... here goes... what is to be expected from a small town in a state that puts money first...
Legalizing marijuana, was only for gaining rax revenue...
A little town that knows there is No fire nor other danger if a vehicle parked at the location I WAS at..
Thats a good little sum of money your town hall gets from drivers each month one could imagine...
Thats ok...
Buy a few bags off grass seed with it or whatever...
Its the last cent that I spent there...
Hope you all fare well...
God, Bless You All...
