Best pier around here, good views,place to surf, lifeguard towers all around with lifeguards on duty, so swim with peace of mind. Kids love the area, they have bike rentals here, parking is a kinda tricky but not bad. The do have restrooms on the pier itself and showers by the beach. Also lots of fishing which is nice.

Imperial Beach Pier is a very calm and relaxing spot. In the afternoons, right before sunset, you can watch surfers putting on a show, it’s impressive! There are lots of people fishing, and the area is very clean. I was also there around midnight and felt totally safe, the streets have plenty of security. The vibe is 100% California!

Beautiful. Finding parking sucks but it's a beautiful place with amazing views. They have funny saying along the pier that give it a nice touch. Lots of fishermen. They have bathrooms at the shore and halfway up the pier which I thought was very convenient.

Nice Beach 5 miles from Mexican Border. 12-14 miles South of Downtown San Diego. Nice Pier for fishing. Restaurants and Shopping near by top.

Beautiful peaceful beach. Lots of fishing activity. I came here @ 12am & the end of the pier was closed. Multiple small stingrays in knee high water in clear site, pretty cool.

Made a visit to Imperial Beach while on vacation San Diego. The pier is a must to walk down. The water is relaxing. No one swimming (apparently a contamination). Fun to see surfers out in the water though. Lots of people fishing off the pier. Nice to see how clean it was. Someone was sweeping sand at the entrance which was much appreciated

Beach with a pier offering scenic views, lifeguards, and a food shack. Fish off the pier, watch the surfers, the pier is pretty long they serve beer and food at the very end. You can barely see the ciry of san diego in the far distance.
