Me and my Boss went up here for a company Ice Fishing trip and we really enjoyed the suite we stayed in! We are Really excited for the new Owners and seeing they have passion and drive to keep the place up to date. I have to say the place was spotless and had everything you needed what a Outstanding Suite right by the Lake!! Quality people and fishing is what Lake John has to offer. Great service, Doug and Mary were welcoming and helpful. Quiet and secluded, well stocked general store. We will visit again! In addition, the cabins are much nicer than the pictures show. Thanks to all of the staff at Lake John.

not sure how this place is still in business....?|water is a continuing, ongoing and present issue, as is the staff/ownership.|the water being SOLD here as potable water is NOT potable and ruined a fresh water system on a new travel trailer (thousands of dollars to replace and weeks of down time) and made me, my father and our dogs very ill.|the water is the same poor quality in the shower/s, RV fill spout and cabins. the water is cause for inspection by a health official as it does cause health issues!|this is not a reputable business. |there is a difference between cheap and bad and this is bad.|when i told the business about the issue (twice) they told me how great the water was and i was wrong with a clearly rehearsed line to address the poor water... well i found the videos of the water that ruined my RVs fresh waster system and made me ill (here are some screen shots of the water at lake john resort). this is some sort of agile and will grow in your water tank/system. bleach will not completely kill it. nothing will get this stuff out of your water system. it must be replaced!|if these people pass any kind of health inspection then the inspector is not running the water long enough, does not care or some kind of valve for good and bad water selection is present.

The staff was welcoming and excellent at customer service. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The Stars were the most exceptional part of the stay. If you have never viewed the stars at night with no light polution, it is spectacular! We hope to visit this place again.

☆ WE HAD THE BEST TIME!! ☆

This was the first time my husband and I used our new (to us) camper/trailer. We went with a group of friends & family and you all were able to reserve us hook-up spots right next to each other! A family in our group had an 8 m/o, first time camper, in attendance and they were able to reserve and stay in one of your cabins. You all were so welcoming and friendly! Thank you for making our time together at your Lake John Resort so wonderful. We made some great memories and we will DEFINITELY be back!

I'm not one to leave reviews but the owners of this resort are some of the kindest and most hospitable people I've ever met. (this seems to be a common theme if you look at the other reviews!) This was our first time up but they make you feel like you're one of the regulars. It is a very nice and clean resort, full hookups were terrific. The night sky is breathtaking. We will definitely be back.
