Hands down the best hardware store I've ever been to. The store always seems to have the items I need, and the staff always has the answers I need. They're very friendly and knowledgeable, but not overbearing. If you know what you're doing, they'll just leave you alone. I'm so glad I have a place like this near me.

Some of us remember the level of service that, G Fox, Sage Allen, Savitts, ETC rendered. The WHFD Larsen ACE Hardware location is such an institution!
>Recently I made a purchase there. Upon arriving home difficulty assembling said purchase was encountered. I returned to the store where a patient knowledgeable gentleman at the help desk, whose name I learned not sadly, ended my dilemma. I also want to say kudos to the young lady who was kind, considerate and shared my ardor for the concept of excellent customer service! I believe, though one may be wrong, her name was Abby. I have an older lamp that has a round donut shaped bulb in it.
The light did not work so I took it to ace hardware in west hartford center. When I entered the sore in the back there was a lady that directed me to a person who could help. I don’t remember his name however he was able to fix the lamp with another fixture since the original fixture was obsolete.

I was able to pick up the item in about five days. The cost was reasonable. I am happy for choosing Ace Hardware.

It is always a good experience to go to Larsen Ace Hardware. Their product line seems to be well suited to the needs and problems of the average homeowner. - Better than the big box stores. Store associates provide helpful friendly service. The store is neat, clean and well stocked. Also, if shoping online their web site is easy to use and up to date.

Larsen Ace Hardware does not make keys if you bring your own blanks purchased elsewhere. Doesn't quite make sense to me, charge a fee for the key making service when blanks are brought in don't turn away customers, doesn't make sense.

Amazing customer service provided by Kathie! She went above and beyond to ensure the product was ready for delivery and equipped with everything we needed. She was attentive, knowledgeable and provided superb customer service. I was thrilled we could make this purchase locally, through ACE Hardware, and not a big box store. AND, the pricing was better!! Plus, if you are an ACE Hardware member you get free assembly and delivery services with a purchase over a certain amount!! Amazing experience!
