Always appreciate a great coffee shop with a comfy couch to crochet on with great big windows and a yummy chai by my side. Not to mention the homemade quiche baked that morning satisfying my appetite. Will be back every time after I drop my hubby off at Phil’s World. Cheers to great little local coffee shop

Wonderful coffee shop! You can trust them to make you perfectly proportioned and delicious espresso drinks. All of the quiches (meat and veggie options), breads, and pastries are hand made fresh each morning. If you are a tea afficionado, you're in the right place; the owner has curated an impressive collection of high quality and flavorful tea options. Stop in if you haven't tried it already! This place is an amazing addition to Cortez! Coffee is great! Food is phenomenal! Atmosphere is very friendly and incredible! This place deserves 5 stars!!! Home made sour dough and it's local you can't go wrong!! I highly recommend you try this place!! ? Got a oat milk latte and Iced dirty Chai as well as a Cheddar Jalapeño breakfast sandwich!

I love starting my morning at Mesa Cafe. They make the best London Fog I've had in this area (Mancos, Cortez, and Dolores). Their coffee drinks are amazing and you can't go wrong with one of their homemade muffins - just the right level of sweetness to start your morning.

Service was great, atmosphere is welcoming, the pasteries/sweets were good. The only complaint i have is the lemon scone we got, it was a bit undercooked.

I hope this will be changed so people can enjoy the scone better without the fear of getting sick.

All of the other sweets were fully cooked and delicious.

At first I was a bit put off by a $4 cup of drip coffee, but I do have to say this is the best cup of coffee I've had in the area! I wasn't familiar with the idea of "second-wave" or "third-wave" coffee, but the folks there explained that to me as well as what went in to the process of identifying the roaster they wanted to work with and I found the information really interesting! They were super kind and the space in general is just really inviting and and comfortable. I'll be back for more 🙂

Got an oatmilk latte (lactose sensitive), and a breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese. Everything was perfect.

Sandwich was incredible. Crunchy toast, soft egg, melty cheese, crispy bacon, all wonderfully balanced.

Latte was immaculate. Wonderfully smooth, with a foamy top. Espresso was not bitter at all. It was pleasant and mellow.

These people are clearly passionate about their service, it reflects well in the atmosphere of their establishment. We've been coming here for a few years to grab an exceptional craft beer, but now that they've introduced breakfast and coffee, I don't have to leave!
