Favorite liquor store hands down. Friendliest staff which is hard to come by nowadays. We quickly befriended Sam, he’s been very welcoming. We make weekly visits at this point just to say hello. He is always happy to greet us with a big smile and is so genuine. He’s always kind to our service dog! Never had a poor experience here and will continue to return. Feels like a little family here now.

This place is great! So much so that my boyfriend and I are regulars there. For the size of the store, which isn't huge, it has a great selection with a walk-in cooler full of different IPAs, seltzers, hard kombuchas, and more. I can most often find what I'm looking/in the mood for. The man usually running the front/register is Sam, and he is very nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place

Had the worst experience that I’ve ever had at any liquor store, even next to the most ghetto ones, I have never been treated the way I was. I was flushed from running across the street on my break from work in my uniform. Then I tried buying a buzzball and the cashier told me “how much have I had to drink?” “Can you walk down the aisle and back to make sure, I don’t need your ID yet.”I was sober as a judge, was for another occasion. Then he asked for my ID after, which I thought is all you’d need since my 23. If I could give zero stars I would, I didn’t ask to be talked to by a cashier acting like a police officer. Thank you for you over priced beverage, won’t be back. I went on 10/03/23 PM.

The extremely rude staff refused to accept my valid out of state ID for absolutely no reason when I was more than happy to let him scan my ID and he chose not to and kept being aggressive and asking me and my friend if we thought he was dumb we clearly thought so and the fact that the beer selection is so damm overpriced and the selection is horrible and nothing special about it. The workers here are pathetic and clearly have ego issues there is no need to go here. I recommend to go around the corner of Nadys market where the workers actually have common decency.

Best and biggest selection of wine, beer, and liquor in Costa Mesa. Check out their "Beer Cave!" Decent cigar selection too. Owners and employees are friendly.
