If I could shake Miss Myra’s hand, I would!! They had my plate in my hands before I could even fill up my drink cup. The staff were super sweet, and MAN was the food good. Really moist pork and excellent barbecue sauce. My highlight of the experience was the dessert.

I had the chicken plate with potato salad and cole slaw, the cole slaw is vinegar based and was very good. The potato salad was tasteless, it just had no flavor. My wife had a small pork plate with green beans, which are amazing and potato salad, she also said it was tasteless. The banana pudding made my wife cry, it was just like her Nanny's. The chocolate chess pie was amazing. Definitely a place to go back too. #AndrewZimmerman

Came here to try the BBQ after seeing all the good reviews. Order at the counter and food came out pretty quickly. Came here after 1pm on Saturday. No wait. Ribs are incredible, and probably the only meat I would come back for. Brisket was a bit dry. Chicken sandwich was not bad, especially if you put their white BBQ sauce - probably the best white sauce I have had. Potato salad is a can't miss as well.

We were visiting from Atlanta, and this place looked a bit like a hole in the wall, but those places tend to have great food, and it did not disappoint. The portions were large, and the food was great.

You order at the counter, and they don’t have some of the side items you might get at a commercial bbq place like sweet potatoes casserole (only for holidays), so they focus on their All-Star menu items. I ordered the white meat chicken on bone and enjoyed it with the white sauce at the table. I also got the collard greens which were amazing. Also ordered a pie and it was so so good. There was nothing left.

It was just my friend and I, around 6 pm on a Monday night, and it seemed like most of their business is takeout because we were the only people eating in the restaurant. The restaurant has plenty of seating, kind of like cafeteria seating. You order at the counter and then they’ll call you up when it’s ready.

We are visiting from Washington, DC and wanted bbq. Google lead us here with the great reviews and I'd like to leave another. What a wonderful experience we had today with our Pork family meal! My daughter, grandchildren, and I were very pleased with the offerings and the amount we received. The coleslaw reminded me of my Grandmother's back in the day. The sauces were great, especially the white one! We will be back! Thank you for providing such wonderful Alabama bbq! 🍖

The atmosphere is welcoming and inviting, the folks are friendly and pleasant and helpful and samples are given if asked... The food is good with a variety for all except for fries.. they don't offer but deviled eggs and potato salad is in place and they know how to make them... If looking for someplace different than standard restaurants, give them a try... Prices cheap for area!
