Sal was a dream to work with for our wedding on 9/14/24. He was so kind, so accommodating, and flexible to ours/and our groomsmen's schedules! The groom & groomsmen looked wonderful in the hunter green suits! The ties and suspenders were awesome and the brown shoes were also beautiful in the photos! We will forever recommend Sal @ Modern Formals of Middletown to everyone we know, and plan to purchase some suits there in the future! Thank you for everything!

Went there for a Tux for my son’s school dance….Great variety, staff and Sal treated us literally like we had known them for years. In and out no issues. Will be back for anything else we need in the future !

I’m typically all about supporting a local, family owned business but Modern Formal is a definite exception. Even though the guys were “fitted” two months before the wedding, they all looked like they were wearing their fathers’ suits when they tried on their rentals two days before the wedding. They were given tuxedo pants even though suit pants were requested. To make matters worse, the tux pants didn’t match the color of the suit jacket. The “white” dress shirts were yellowed and should be thrown out. Sal did his best to accommodate but it wasn’t perfect and this was completely avoidable. There’s no reason a wedding party should have to scramble to look good.

The whole experience at Modern Formals was great! Sal and the guys were very friendly and attentive! The suits for me and my groomsmen were perfect! I'll definitely be recommending anyone who needs a suit! I'll definitely be back for all my suit needs!

Sal is the best! My now husband has been going to Sal for many years, as have our friends. From proms to weddings, we knew we would be in good hands with Sal and the team at Modern Formals for our own wedding. Sal was quick to answer any and all of my questions, made recommendations when we weren’t sure about what we wanted to do for color combos/accessories, and made me feel at ease the entire time. Our whole wedding party looked and felt great and we owe it to Sal!

Sal was truly a hero in fitting the groomsmen for our wedding. Many of them were out of town and unable to come in for fittings, which Sal handled with no push back. The tuxes were perfect and exactly what we had imagined our big day. Highly recommend Sal and his team in Middletown for formal wear, he knows what he's doing!!
