Although it was a great spot for photography be prepared for negativity at the front gate. You must show your current registration and insurance to get in, surprise surprise! For the record it’s stated in the fine print on page three.
As a handicapped person traveling with another handicapped person I was amazed at the horrible conditions of the spots. Three inch drop offs from asphalt to dirt which is documented in one of my photos. Falls could almost be expected.
I would love to know what the employees do with the information copied from my insurance cards and my registration. Do they sell it? Maybe they delete or destroy it. I was afraid to ask as I may have been turned away.
One of the employees said that next time I’ll know about their rules, that’ll be the day when I return.
FYI, There are two major train tracks that back up to the back row of r.v. spots on the west side. Expect northbound/southbound trains every 15 to 30 minutes,24 / 7. Didn’t bother me but it might bother you.
