Place is not like the original. Last pastry's I bought were not that great. Cookies were fresh. Buy my coffee and bread here if I am in the area but no more pastry or cookies.

So incredibly disappointed in this bakery. I ordered a cake for my 2 year old son’s special day. I called to pay for the cake over the phone before pickup because I am very busy and needed a relative to pick it up on the way. I have ordered from there plenty of times before and have always had someone pick it up and pay over the phone. The woman who I spoke to refused to take my payment even after explaining this was the only way to get my cake and was very rude. She said they needed to “imprint” the card. Not sure what that even means in 2025, but as I stated before I’ve done this in the past with this exact location. Now I will not be giving them my business and will disappointingly go to stop and shop and hope they have something special for today. If this is how they treat customers pre ordering $50 cakes, I guess they really have gone down hill.

This place was recommended to us by locals as an institution with the best espresso. Yes, esprosso and other drinks were great. Pastries and desserts I do not recommend. We were a group of several people and were able to try almost everything that was in the store and took something with us. Desserts are dry and tasteless...looks stale or may not have been stored properly

Excellent Italian pastries. Cannoli and Cheese Danish are probably the best in CT for sure.

Price is about same as other bakeries.

Placed an order for a large event. Once the order was received, everything was absolutely disgusting. Stale, old and dry. Threw it in the trash where it belongs. When you pay a premium for something, you’d expect a higher standard of quality. Do not waste your time with this bakery. You’d get better quality from a vending machine.

The rum cake was very dry and definitely not a sponge cake. The pudding inside was decent but there wasn’t much frosting around the outside. The cake was very lopsided and uneven. I wouldn’t order a cake from here again.

This place was incredible and enormous! The number of options was staggering! There was both sweets (cookies, marzipan, bakery goods) and also lunch options (calzones, pizza squares, and a few other things!) The staff were so kind and helpful, really caring about my request and we're very accommodating.
