A few weeks ago I purchased a new Santa Cruz mountain bike from Mystic Cycle Center online. I live about 3 hours away in NY. After receiving the bike I wasn't sure if I chose the right size and decided to take a ride and try the next size up. Chris Palmer (owner) introduced himself and spent a few hours with me. I was able to try a bigger bike and decided it was too much. So Chris made a few adjustments including changing the handlebar stem to the bike I purchased to give me some more room. Overall I am extremely pleased and so glad I made the trip out there!! Thanks again Chris for all your help. The bike is awesome!!

Worst experience on Santa Cruz bike.
They ruin such an existing purchase, but fortunately provided me with excuses for all the issues I bought this bike with( they really good with that).
Had to spent almost 2 weeks to sort out all the issues which added even more cost to it.

Such an expensive bike can’t be sold to customers in this condition( loose and not torqued crank shaft, dried sealant, unbalanced wheels, missing documentation on the app setup, jumpy brakes and staines from grease ) Unfortunately, I wasn’t experienced biker to spot all the issues right away.
So instead of enjoying nice rides with my kids I have to go from shop to shop to fix those issues ( couldn’t go to them, I live 130 miles away)

This is also put very bad impact on such a great brand as Santa Cruz, cos with all this issues bike would go bad very fast.

We’ve purchased our bicycles from Mystic Cycle Centre over the years and always had the best experience. On our recent trip to upgrade our daughter’s bike, we received the same top notch customer service from Chris and his staff. They were welcoming, patient, and exceptionally knowledgeable. We could have been steered towards the newest, more expensive model, but our daughter fell in love with a used bike out front. There was zero pressure to buy new and Chris explained how their used inventory goes under a thorough inspection and tune-up and were of the same quality as their new bikes. We left with a great bike, a happy kid, and another awesome experience. Thanks again, Chris!

The owner, Chris, has a ton of knowledge and will help you find the perfect bicycle for your needs. They went above and beyond with helping us and we will be returning to buy our bike rack. Pretty poor customer service. I brought my bike in for service and waited in front of the service counter while two employees were helping a single customer. After about 10 minutes no one acknowledged my presence but another customer with a flat walked right up to the counter and the mechanic helped him right away. Maybe it's a lack of experience or lack of training but I really don't care to deal with an establishment that doesn't pay attention to their customers. I took my bike elsewhere and got excellent service.

I have received excellent customer service and advice from MCC on every visit. Being a rookie mountain biker I was personally shown by Andrew, how to maintain the chain on my Trek Roscoe, he spent 15 minutes with me to which I am very appreciative. The sales person who greets you is outstanding, the whole store is 'comfortable'. Thank you!

Just picked up my Santa cruz blur today. Great shop Great people and customer service will gladly do business with them again.
