We always buy our Spanish rolls here during weekends and we always buy by a box (15pcs). Two weeks ago we bought a box of spanish and asked the staff to give us the newly baked ones but she gave us the cold bread. And then this last weekend we bought a box again and asked if they can give us just 1 small brown bag so we can get at least 2 pcs of spanish rolls from the 15pcs we bought and the lady is charging us .50 cents for it. I dont think you should be charging your customers for a brown bag especially if its just 1 small brown bag and we are your regular customers.

Bought their Spanish rolls. Asked for hot ones but they were on the semi-cold side. It is best to eat while very warm! The rolls do come very buttery!
Note: If you are to use a credit card do be aware there is a minimum purchase.

The Spanish bread at this establishment is absolutely amazing—truly a must-try that makes the trip worthwhile! However, I was a bit taken aback by the atmosphere upon entering. The lively chatter of the local tita’s filled the air, yet I couldn't help but notice some side-eye glances directed at me because I wanted to take pictures. While I understand the desire to maintain a certain ambiance, I was hoping to capture the experience so I could share it and encourage others to visit your fantastic bakery!

Despite the somewhat unfriendly environment, the highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Spanish bread—it absolutely stole the show! However, I believe the customer service could use some improvement to match the incredible quality of the food. Overall, I encourage fellow foodies to make the trip for the delicious bread, but I hope to see a warmer welcome on my next visit!

Love this location in waipahu.. pastries are always fresh and the assortment of goodies has grown.. Spanish rolls are to die for.😃. ive also discovered that they make a killer custard pie.🤙🤙one of the better ones I've tasted yet. This location is popular and you most likely will see a line.but so worth it. They even make some ono Filipino rice desserts .can't leave without a few to go ! Staff is always super nice..

Moving from Bay Area to here I had to go looking for new neighborhood gems to get some delicious food. I am so happy my neighbor told me about this place. Back in the Bay, we call these delicious, sweet rolls Seniorita Bread and they're baked fresh by Star Bread Bakery. Here on the island, Nanding's has them as Spanish Rolls. They are also baked fresh throughout the day because they are THAT popular. These rolls are fluffy and have enough melted butter and sugar inside that will make you question if you went to Star Bread or Nanding's. There's also plenty of other delicious baked goods here for everyone. It legit smells like a bakery down the street from our old house in the province of Bulacan in the Philippines. Highly recommend coming here.

Third time it happened, I should have known better and checked before leaving. After clearly stating “ube spanish rolls”, I end up getting the regular version three times now, I like them too but I want what I order. Dont forget to check before leaving the inside of the bakery or you’ll have to pay for a whole other box. Two different workers behind the counter that could clearly hear and understand what I ordered each time I visited, bra, cmon Im not even a soft talker. Disappointed!

Pan De Coco is yummy just like Spanish Rolls. Food cases were full of delicious bakery items. Had to get my Christmas order in, instead of waiting the day of.

If you love little hole in the wall places, this is a must! Friendly staff and their pastries are delicious!
