First time, stop by for breakfast and was very good. Popovers look great but decided on some different items. Only complaint was vegetables hash was cut different sizes so so big pieces were raw still. Besides that delicious food.

Very quaint restaurant in the heart of Simsbury.

There are so many things on the menu that I found appealing, that it was hard to decide. I ended up going with the sweet potato black bean burger. It turned out to be the right choice, as it was amazing.

I'll definitely be back to try some other items on the menu.

Pop Over Eatery is a breakfast/lunch spot and they have two locations, one in Mystic and one in Simsbury. I've read reviews for this place and was excited to try it out. It's located in the Simsburytown Shops; it's a busy parking lot with limited parking, but we were able to snag a spot. The place was busy at lunch on a Monday. We spoke to the hostess and she said about a 10-15 minute wait, which was correct and fine with us. They had high chairs which was a plus. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. I enjoyed the bright and colorful decor.

I started off with a butter latte which you guessed it, had butter in it; it was delicious, I ordered it hot since the waitress said it might not fully melt if it's iced, I appreciated the tip. Their menu was vast and had so many good and unique options to choose from. I decided to try out their French toast BLT; it had an egg, applewood bacon, lettuce, tomato, maple mayo, and cinnamon brioche French toast. This came with a side of syrup but I didn't need it. The sandwich was unique and pretty good; I just wished it came with a side like fries or hash browns. There were a few other menu items I wanted to try out as well. At the end, the receipt was dropped off; I liked that we can pay by scanning the QR code on the receipt.

The service staff are very welcoming and friendly! The restaurant is clean. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The food options are fantastic. The sandwiches and salads are great! If you’re looking for a lunch place in the area, you should definitely check them out! I highly recommended this place!

So, I came here for Brunch. We had to wait 1/2 hour to be seated. That's generally a good sign. The presentation of the food is very good. Some of the plates I saw are something to behold. The popovers look insane
I ordered the corn beef hash. I ordered it well done. It took longer than expected and came out completely dry and basically inedible. I flagged down a waitress ( turned out to be the owner ) and she was genuinely concerned that I received my food that way. Well, new plate, right away. She checked on me multiple times. As a business owner myself I totally appreciated the extra effort. My critiques: The service could be faster, but it's not horrible. The food is Fresh and the presentation is very good. The coffee is excellent and they have some excellent healthier options with good flavor ( I especially enjoyed the CHIA PUDDING and the smashed avocado 🥑 So far, I give it a strong recommendation and I will be back to update after I try a few more items.

I feel like the photo speaks for itself - so gorgeous, exactly what I was looking for when I looked up “cute brunch place.” Vegan power bowl was delectable, Chaga matcha w/ oat milk was lovely - I love a place that has good matcha options! I had to try a popover, it was okay, like an eggier fried dough, paired nicely w/ the honey butter. Pancakes were yum. The place is visually pleasing, nice service, baked goods in the front looked good, too. I’d like to come back soon!

Busy Sunday brunch but our server Julia made us feel like we were VIP.
Great food, prices , GF options and coffee but the shining star was the service.

Julia was attentive, personable , charming , speedy but never felt rushed.
We are visiting from the South and she related to our home states seamlessly
while taking food orders.
She even took our family photo after her recommendation of clearing the table.

Don’t change a thing , see y’all next time we visit.
