Fantastic local mom-and-pop hardware store. Many times they've helped me just by being within walking distance. If these good people didn't exist, we'd all have to drive 30-60m in summer traffic along Coastal (yikes!) to the Lowes or Home Depot. Just for that, I'm grateful for them! P.S.: Very well stocked for a small mom-and pop, and friendly folks too!

Very unhappy. Dropped off screens to be repaired. A week later we called for progress report. Were told a missing corner had to be ordered. All parts were there when we dropped them off, but the woman at the counter refused to believe it. We have no reason to lie about a $3 part. Also, we do not like to leave negative reviews and rarely do so. But when people really show a lack of empathy, we need to call it out. Go elsewhere

Went in and had interaction with the rude woman, the subject of many bad reviews. Please stay away from customers and if there is an owner/co-owner that agrees with the negative reviews concerning rudeness, you really need to step up and fix it. Y’all don’t like Home Depot and Lowe’s stealing all of your business; I tried to patronize a local small business, but you drove me right back to the big box hardware stores. Will never set foot in this store again.

One of the last Mom & Pop stores in our area... Yes, you pay a little more but the quality of service is still there... If you need a thingamabob or a whatchamacallit... Their is nothing better then a local Store... Say hi to Karen when your in there.. Known her for years and she and the rest of the crew are always very helpful

I was a paying customer in line and politely asked whether they had a restroom to the gentleman who was checking us out. A very rude lady yelled “no we don’t” from the back of the store. Not a way to speak to customers. We’ll take our business elsewhere going forward.

I'm not sure why this store is still in business. Will never go back in there. The lady was rude and unhelpful. Thank you Ace hardware for helpfulness and great customer service! QUILLENS SHOULD GO OUT OF BUSINESS!

My bulky black lab barreled through the screen door at my Aunt and Uncle’s beach house. I called around and was told by multiple locals to head over to Quillen’s. Boy I’m glad I did! They fixed the ripped screen in a matter of hours. Not to mention they were very personable, kind, and obviously helpful. Love to see smaller places like this still in business. Let’s make sure it stays that way!

Helpful, friendly. I needed to buy mouse traps when visiting an older relative who had a little unwanted visitor, and they had just enough to make a good selection; that's the great thing about small hardware stores. That, and the friendly knowledge that goes along with it.
