It's fine, but not a must try. The food and drinks are very expensive for what they are ($20 for a small deli meat turkey club and fries). The staff are very friendly and the tavern itself has a very old school authentic wooden tavern feel. The music that was being played over the speakers was incredibly loud (to the point you couldn't hear across a small table).

I visit Red Rock every week because our run club has a meal there after we run! And it’s always suggested to come back for a visit on a different day, so that’s what I did! Brought my sister to brunch and it was sooooo good! Not to mention the drinks really had me snd my sister feeling the spirit of joy 😂 I’ll absolutely be coming by more often! Great staff, food, jokes from staff, and fantastic drinks! Kudo’s to the whole team! Oh and the DJ had it ROCKING!!

Finally making a review after reminiscing about our trip to Connecticut at the lunch table! We had THE BEST experience here. What we assume to be the owner showed us such kindness that we still have been smiling about it after all these months. We went to Connecticut in October for an orthodontic meeting and ended up at this very lovely restaurant. Food, drinks, and service were top tier. The owner went above and beyond and just genuinely seems to be a super kind person. So thank you again for such an amazing experience. We loved the place and you! 🙂

I was having dinner alone and the waitress which was also the bartender was amazing. She made me feel so welcomed and was helpful helping me decide of what to eat.

Big menu suitable for everyone and affordable. If ever I'm back in Hartford, I'll definitely be stopping by again

The food is very good and my sever (Maleka?) was excellent. It’s in a very nice location that’s not congested on weekend and not far from capital area. It was peaceful and not crowded but I’m sure it will be later in evening.

I ordered the eggplant fries ($10) as appetizer and wanted to order another serving because they were delicious. I had the special (A-1 Burger $12) and it was very tasty. The prices are very reasonable. They have a dinner menu but served after 5pm.

I highly recommend dining at this establishment if in area. And I love the flowers that are planted near door, they make it very inviting!

Food is good but service is pretty bad. First experience dining in there on a Sunday was a disaster (honestly think it’s cuz the waitress knew she was getting 20% gratuity no matter what). Now I only order takeout, but even those orders keep getting messed up to where I’m missing something, getting overcharged, or both. Drinks, you can barely taste the alcohol.

My wife and I were in town for a wedding, we went to go to another spot first based off of local suggestions. They were closed. We found this place and the owner was amazing! He opened up an hour earlier than the menu stated. So happy we chose this place! The overall feeling you get was that they care! Clean place, fresh food, personable. Hard to find these things in todays day and age. You can also see the capital building and parts of the city from sitting on their patio.

From the exterior and GoogleMaos, this place looks like a gastropub, but it's really a dive bar 🍻. They mostly have beer and a poor liquor selection, with no bourbon 🥃. Limited Spirits selection— just loads of flavored Ciroc & Hennessy. Surprisingly, the food was decent. I had a Western cheeseburger with BBQ sauce and an onion ring 🍔. Service was mediocre the first time I went; the bartender seemed annoyed by me and favored other customers 😒. But when I visited a second time one of the owners was supper nice and attentive. Glad I decided to come back and not judge my experience on a bad day.
