I have been coming to River Nails & Spa for almost a year. Shawn does my nail. He does such a beautiful job. Everyone always complements them. His neck massage is wonderful too. Wow! My fell manicure was executed PERFECTLY. The young man with longer hair took me (I wish I got his name). He did a FANTASTIC job. I came here on a whim as a walk in, and they took me right away. Sanitation was also good, that’s a big deal to me. Thanks for a great visit!

Unfortunately disappointed. I booked an “artificial nail soak off” and a “gel manicure” hoping to get my fake nails soaked off and then get just a regular gel manicure on my natural nails this past Saturday. I never received the soak off service even though I mentioned it 3 times when I was in the store as well as it being on my appointment outline in their computer. My gel tips were never even removed, just more gel was put on top after they were filed down. After saying something more than twice I felt I was not being heard or respected, there was nothing else I could do. At the end of the service when I was paying, I explained that my nails were not soaked off so could we please remove the $20 soak off service. I was told “you cannot soak off UV gel” so I said alright can we still remove the charge though since that didn’t happen. I was then told that I was still being charged $20 for the filing of the UV nails which did not make sense because the service I booked was a soak off, not a file and they were likely going to file my nails anyway as a typical inclusion of a manicure? I was also never told during my appointment that UV gel could not be soaked off. If that had been explained, I probably would have chosen to just have everything removed with whatever is used to remove UV gel and would have had no regular gel manicure at all in an attempt to save some $ if I wasn’t going to be able to get what I intended to. This would have been no big deal at all. I ended up paying $70 and did not get what I wanted at all even after politely saying something several times. On top of that, it is only 3 days after the service and 4 of my nails have chips in them already (2 of the chips are pictured below, the other 2 are too small to be picked up on camera) They were kind people but I feel I wasted $70 on basically only a gel manicure that is now already chipped several times.

They did an amazing job!! Price of these were $96 (a lot more than I thought) but the quality is great. Definitely worth going if u have the money to spend.

The first time I went here I was charged $85 for a full acrylic set and a cat eye polish with a design on one finger. It was fine and service was good price reasonable. I come back and am charged $116 plus the tip I added making it $144!! I got a full acrylic set again with some French tips and little star cheap nail decals! It also took 2 hours! The price I had to pay for this was unbelievable and way too overpriced in my opinion! Not at all happy about my most recent appointment! Cat eye nails compared to French tips with some cheap decals you would think would be similar in price even less honestly but nope! I was overcharged and will not be coming back because of this outrageous pricing! Don’t recommend!!!

My Brazillian stepmom had come into the store to get her eyebrows done and was told there were no openings for the rest of the night whatsoever. I called on the phone a few minutes later and was told I could be seen in 30 minutes. I've heard other stories of the new owners being racist as well. I have been there many times to get gel nails, and most of the time, I'm not happy with the results, and they always are unhappy with the tip I can give no matter how much I tip. I am a broke college student so the few times I do go to get my nails done I do the cheapest possible options and they always tack on extra charges after the fact when I had not agreed to said charges. I've started going to different salons and have been treated much better with much cheaper prices and better results. Would not recommend going here.

Highly recommend! The staff is nice and professional, and everything was super clean and sanitized. When I get a gel manicure here they last a long time with no chipping or peeling. They do a great job!

I’ve been coming here since they opened and have always had a positive experience the shop is very clean and inviting My pedicures with Ada are so relaxing I have some nerve issues and they are very accommodating I work very hard with my hands but like them to look nice and have never been disappointed so thankful to Shawn and his crew very accommodating!!!thanks di😉
