We hired this company SHADES TO YOU ORLANDO through Costco home services so we thought we were getting a responsible and trustworthy company . Well we could not have hired a worse company. For starters we were told 4 weeks it took almost 2 full months with No return calls or emails. Finally they called with an install date August 8 . They showed up and installed 3 of the large blinds 2 were motorized and started on the 4 blind when they cracked the drywall and put an 18 inch crack in the wall. They tried to patch it but said someone would come and fix it. We waited a week and called and spoke to the owner (she said) Brenda M and she said she knew Nothing about any damage and no one told her about any damage and this was the first time she’s heard anything. Brenda Said she would come down and she came a few days later from her Orlando office. she looked at the damage took photos told us she would have somebody get ahold of us to fix it. Now a week later Brenda is back tracking and blaming the (are you ready for this) Builder Kolter Homes saying they did poor craftsmanship and her Company is not paying to fix the damage they caused to our Brand New Home we settled on May 22 and in less than 60 days Shades To You has done damage they will not stand behind. We feel they are not trustworthy and are very dishonest. Be very careful and make sure you do what we did. Use Costco they value our membership and told us not to worry they COSTCO will send someone to fix our home and they will deal with the Vendor (Shade to you Orlando)

Really poor service. Bought motorized shade. I was told battery would last months. battery charge last 46 days. Have not received any answer or follow up. Would not recommend to buy motorized shades and definitely not with this company that doesn't care about following up with clients

I am updating this review because after i posted our bad experience we received a call from Justin who was very apologetic. He offered to come install the awning fabric but we had already arranged for someone else to come complete the job. They have kindly reimbursed us for the cost we incurred for hiring an outside party to take care of this. We are satisfied with this resolution. Wish we were working with Justin ( and not Brenda) from the beginning because Im pretty sure we would not have waited 10 months and our emails and phone calls would not have gone unanswered.

Beware of this company!!!! We purchased an awning made by SunSetter and in less than a year it was splitting at the seams. It was under warranty so we called Shades to You as (servicing agent for SunSetter). They ordered us the new one and 2 months later we got the call they would be coming to install it (this was now Nov.2023). The very next day the installer called and said he terminated his employment so we needed to call Brenda at Shades to You to arrange for a new installer. She told us she now had no one to service our area in Lakewood Ranch but assured us she would come and install it herself if she had to. We were very patient with her and for the next 10 months we called and emailed her. She always had an excuse and eventually she just totally stopped responding to our calls and emails.We found out SunSetter awning actually fired her as their distributor and servicing agent because the service was so horrendous and they were getting many complaints!! So after waiting almost a year, we now have find someone to install the new fabric on the awning and spend more money to fix something that should have been covered under warranty. After initially spending $7000 on this awning we expected far better! This is easily the worst consumer experience we have ever had. Brenda will lie to you and try to make excuses. She will string you along when she has no intension to make it right. Do not give this rotten company your business.

My husband and I have had very positive customer experiences with the Shades to You/Orlando over the years. The installation of many large commercial black-out roller shades in our 8,000 sq ft office building and an awakward window configuration issue that Bob "Chez" and his team (office manager, designer and installer) helped me design at our rental hours 3 hours away are two helpful/positive instances that come to mind. Recently, we needed minor repairs on the office shades that were not Shades responsibility anymore and the owner came out to fix them for us anyway since we were in a bind. They do business the way it used to be done.
