REFUND SCAM- NO PROOF, NO ACCOUNTABILITY I stayed at Sixty Beverly Hills recently and faced a frustrating and unresolved issue regarding a hotel amenity fee that was already prepaid before my check-in.

After some back and forth, the hotel acknowledged via email that the fee had indeed been paid earlier and promised to process a refund of approximately $140 USD (~13,000 INR). That refund never reached me.

Since then, I’ve followed up multiple times over several weeks, only to be told:
• “Wait four weeks.”
• Then, “We’ve already refunded you, check with your bank.”

I checked with my bank. They confirmed there is no record of any refund, and that they need a SWIFT copy of the refund transaction to even begin tracing it. When I asked the hotel for the SWIFT proof, they flat-out refused to share it-citing no valid reason.

So now I’m stuck:
• The hotel admits I’m owed a refund.
• Claims it’s been processed.
• But refuses to provide even basic proof.
• And shifts the burden entirely onto me.

This has not only been financially stressful, but also extremely disappointing for a hotel in this price and reputation range.

If you’re an international guest, especially from outside the U.S., please be cautious about prepayments and amenity charges here. Getting support or resolution post-stay may be nearly impossible.

Love this place. The staff is like family. Anna, Paola, Bell and Eunice are AMAZING. I am always greeted with the biggest and kindest smiles. After a stressful day this place is an oasis in the middle of the Sahara. Thank you much for your kindness

So kind to give us a late checkout on a busy Friday night as our flight was cancelled the previous day. They originally upgraded us to a suite so that was a bonus then they extended the checkout from 11.00 am to 6.00pm free of charge. Paola and Ana were fantastic at reception. 10/10 +

The pool scene was great, however that is as far as it goes. The rooms were clean but basic. They were not bad, it just all felt a little soulless, the finishing touch was just not quite there. Also, it was so hard to get morning coffee at the rooftop. I wanted to love it but just could not. Its cool, but for the price a little meh.
The staff were lovely though and the location is great.

The hotel was lovely but the staff were even better!! The two gentlemen at the front desk were so lovely.. I didn’t catch their names but we stayed at the Sixty on July 3, 2025. And we arrived late… so shout out to your wonderful staff. But Tony? Tony was unforgettable. His warmth and kindness made my day. Heck, he made my trip. Tony is a legend and he made me and my boyfriend feel so welcome… his positive energy was infectious! Thank you so much to your staff for bringing a giant smile to my face. It was much appreciated.

On the positive side, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the bed was comfortable, which made for a decent night’s sleep.

However, there were several areas that fell short of expectations. The shower was outdated, and the glass door did not effectively prevent water from splashing onto the bathroom floor, leaving it wet and slippery after each use.

What was most disappointing was the lack of transparency in the service charges. I was billed nearly $50 per day for internet and other services I did not use or authorize. In addition, valet parking cost nearly $70 per day, which felt excessive, especially when added to the already high room rate. When you add up the room, service charges, and parking, the total came close to $400 per night—a steep price for a hotel that felt small and outdated.

Overall, while the staff were courteous and the location convenient, the overall value did not match the cost. With more modern and transparent options available in the area, I would likely look elsewhere for future stays in Beverly Hills.

I just loved my stay at Sixty Beverly Hills. Thank you Beth for making my stay a wonderful one! It's a great staff & they have wonderful customer service. I'll be coming back. It's a great hotel run by wonderful people!

Once again I arrived to the SIXTY Hotel with friends for drinks at the Rooftop. We were greeted by Mr. T.Brown who is always so kind and professional. He is one of the sole reasons why we returned to visit. Can’t wait til our next visit just to see him!
