Shalom,
My name's elisheva. I'm a born again jewish believer and a YisraElite sister from Bereshyt. I have been a customer of this thrift store for 13 years. During hurricanes helene and Milton, my mobile was flooded with a surge reaching five feet high. I lost 5 bibles, archives, clothes, furniture, just about everything. Even the mobile was rendered uninhabitable due to mold. I had escaped with a sack of belongings and the clothes on my back.
Afterwards, I made a special trip to st. Vincent de Paul's to buy clothes. That day clothes were half off !!! And I found a pair of jeans for $2.00, 8 cotton shirts for $1.50 a piece, and a measuring cup for $1.00. As I made my way to the check.out, I tallied up $15 in my mind, and noted the $20 in my sack. Then, I noticed a jar on the counter. It said, Donations for hurricane victims.
I turned to the lady behind me in line and said, If you lost just about everything in the hurricanes, can you take money out of the jar? ! And I began to laugh. Suddenly, that lady pulled out a $20 and paid for all my purchases ! I took my goods and went outside. I was so grateful that I began to cry.
I called Ty in the dispatch and told him what happened. He sent a bus for me. While waiting, a woman and a man came up to me. I told them what happened. The woman said, I'm from Canada. You need a coat. She promptly went to her car, pulled out a coat, brought it to me, and I put it on. The man, a store employee said, You need a bible! And handed me a $10. Next, another woman came to me. I told her what happened. She handed me a $5. Then, the bus came. Beep! Beep! I grabbed my stuff, said, i have to go., and gave the $2 fare to the driver.
I tallied my shopping trip. Netted $11, one pair of cotton 20 W jeans, 8 shirts, measuring cup, and a winter coat. The people blessed me, and they will be blessed.
Baruch HaShem YAH VEH !
And later, I did buy a 2001 wide margin edition of the Exegeses Parallel Bible,
Herb Jahn, Exegete. from ebay. ($175 was a bargain for this out of print edition).
halleluYAH!

The entire staff is very polite and friendly. They volunteer there time daily to keep up with the donations that come in. The organized the entire store so you will be able to find whatever you are looking for easier. I love it when they have everything in the entire store half off. They have daily specials as well. This charity does so much for our community more than people realize. It's a wonderful place to donate too.

This thrift store helps the community quite a lot through your donations as the store generates jobs and housing for needed fellow Americans. The newly remodeled store is like a new store. If you leave empty handed it's your fault. I always find something to take home be it movies, books ,or treasures of all kinds. Tools are always a nice inexpensive item for us guys. I only wish they could stay open later. They are nestled on the north side of downtown NPR. at US 19 and Grand Blvd. In the Gray and White Buildings on the left coming off of US 19.

NEGATIVE 10 STARS!! Worst experience I have ever had! I googled the location before making my way to the store to see the business hours and it shows 3pm and 4 pm depending on the website. I make my way to the store with well over 30 minutes before 3pm and the doors were already locked, I knew exactly what I wanted to get and asked if I could quickly grab the item since they were closing soon, the man at the door (more concerned with vacuuming and locking the door after letting customers out) rudely told me I could not come in. So much for being a church run establishment, I guess he missed the service this past Sunday.
