The West Hartford location was clean, and the staff was proficient and polite. The food was amazing. I enjoyed the soul rice with mac n cheese, yams, and fried chicken pieces. Also, the mac n cheese with yams egg roll was delicious. Washed it all down with a DG Jamaican champagne cola soda.

They also have a Hartford location that I will visit next time.

I recommend Soul Bowl.

We were visiting the area for a volleyball tournament .. and I was so tired of shake shack and chipotle. This was place was amazing. The food was delicious. Although I took my bowl to go because we were in a rush I would have certainly eaten inside. It was very clean. The woman did mention my ticket forgot to print in the back, so my food took a little longer than normal. She apologized and even asked if I wanted a drink while I waited and threw some cookies in the bag ! Such a cool idea it was literally like having my Thanksgiving plate all in one bowl !

I don’t come to Hartford very often but while working out here, I decided to order food for pickup. The soul rolls are to DIIEEEE for!!!! They’re egg rolls with Mac and cheese with yams styled their way. It comes with a soul sauce which is like a sweet and sour sauce with a tiny bit of heat. I’m one of those people who don’t think certain foods should be paired together but this is a delicious combination! I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of their menu!
P.S. One Roll down and I’m full already 😍🙏🏽

The food was delicious. The customer service was awesome. The young man realized that I had not ordered from the menu before and assisted me with everything he was awesome. I will definitely return to this establishment to try different items on the menu!

Having seen and heard such good reviews, had to give it a try. This was my 3rd time visiting SB. Overall the food is pretty good, especially considering I commute to Danbury before getting to eat and it's still tasty. This time, unfortunately I couldn't check my order, and was extremely disappointed to find instead of receiving my fried wings (extra charge) & extra order of wings (extra charge), I was given chicken bites. I certainly don't mind having to pay extra, to get what i like; I would however, at least appreciated being giving the prior notification and/or being offered the option to "wait" for my wings or having my money refunded if they had run out. Unfortunately, I just don't think this was good customer service. 3rd time they say is the charm, but sadly this was not a charmed experience.

The food was incredible and beautifully presented. The bowl I ordered was flavor packed and you could definitely tell they use fresh ingredients, creating a wholesome and satisfying meal.

What impressed me the most was the speed of service - my order was prepared promptly, allowing me to enjoy my meal without any unnecessary wait. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the overall dining experience enjoyable.

I can't wait to visit again!

So happy Soul Bowls opened a 2nd location that’s close to me! It’s always a good vibe when walking into Soul Bowls and the food is delicious. My favorite bowl is the sauteed shrimp with krack n cheese and candied yams…the combo is SO good. I would absolutely recommend to everyone to try it.

If you had reservations about the price, don't. It was worth every penny in quality and amount. And of course, gluten free!!! My personal rec: the yams.
