Very nice new church. I was there on a Sunday morning (10:30am) during May, so I can't speak to how busy it might be during other times of the day (or year). However, at this time, there seemed to be plenty of room to accommodate many people. It looked like there was plenty of parking also, but again, this was during May, and I took an Uber since I am from out of town. The people I met were very friendly and open to a conversation. The priest proactively asked for feedback on his homily so he could do better in the future if anyone had suggestions, but I felt he did a good job.

The ONLY reason I am giving 4 stars is due to an issue that I find FREQUENTLY in many different churches and which has been mentioned in other reviews here...the sound system is not adequate!! Don't get me wrong, it is NOT bad. The clarity of the speakers is fine. There was no feedback or squealing or anything of that nature, but a large open church is VERY difficult when it comes to proper sound dispersion. As another reviewer said, the words simply become unintelligible. Note that I have very good hearing, and I had to REALLY concentrate to catch all of the priest's words, and I sat in the first section. My wife (with hearing impairment) would not have been able to understand most of it.

I did notice a difference between the volume of the readings from the ambo vs. the priest who was using a lavalier. So, I guess I do have some general feedback. 1. Have a professional sound company reevaluate the sound situation, preferably during a live Mass to get real world results. 2. Balance the microphone volumes. 3. Provide "Hearing Assistance" devices if they don't already exist (I didn't ask since my wife didn't attend, so maybe they already do.) 4. And, in the meantime (coming from a former professional speaker), the priest should PROJECT somewhat forcefully from the diaphragm, but at the same time slowing his cadence at the appropriate times to avoid phrases overlapping each other due to reverb/echo.

I don't mean for this to sound harsh. I hope it is helpful, and I would not hesitate in the least to attend here again and encourage others to so so as well! 🙂
