Never did I think I would write a review for a funeral home but here I am. John and his colleagues were very supportive throughout this process and helped us very much. They are thoughtful, give you space and listen to your needs even after you have fully paid! Which means a lot. Their quote compared to other places was very reasonable. I trust them in this process. If I could change just one thing was the dismissal at the end of the services. I understand we pay for a time frame but turning on and off the lights to get everyone out seemed a little harsh. So I would speak about that to them beforehand.

My father passed away in early October, and it was a rather traumatic experience for me because although I felt I was as prepared as I could be, I still wasn't quite ready. I had made just a basic inquiry with Sunwest Funeral Home only two days before dad's passing... but right away the staff acted quickly and things went smoothly from the very start. Elizabeth played a big role in settling my nerves, and was a tremendous source of comfort early on. John meanwhile, the funeral director, was very kind, compassionate, and patient with me. There was an unexpected issue with a surviving relative that arose, which resulted in a multiple day delay in getting my father cremated. John Immediately eased my mind and assured me it would all work out in the end. As I had requested, he kept things simple and basic, and he never tried to upsell me or push options and costly enhancements on me during a time in which I was heartbroken and vulnerable. He made the experience a non-pressure, and uncomplicated one, which I so, so appreciate. Everything I asked for was done, and with the utmost professionalism and care. I want to say another thank you to both Elizabeth and John... and to EVERYONE I came in contact with throughout this period. In fact, the following week, I was pleased and surprised to receive a lovely message from Elizabeth, just checking in to see how I was doing, or if I needed anything. I thought that was very special, and it certainly meant a lot to me. They are very good people over there for sure.

Thank you. I lost my dad in 2022 and now my mom in 2024, both unexpected. Sunwest Funeral Hone made this horrible life experience a lot easier. They communicated from my parents being picked, to once they are in possession to all the steps to cremation. Very knowledgeable and helpful in what has to be done when a loved one passes. Brought my mom here since my experiences with my dad were first class and again, received the same high level of satisfaction. Pricing is extremely fair and would HIGHLY recommend Sunwest to care for your families needs. You wont regret it!

Thankfully I didn't require their services; however, I do enjoy walking around cemeteries. Worked in the industry for over 15 years and cemeteries can be a peaceful walk. This is a nice cemetery and although I didn't go in the funeral home, the funeral home exterior looked nice and well kept.

I’ve never been responsible for making arrangements for the loss of a loved one before then my father unexpectedly passed away. I had no idea what to do. The entire staff at Sunwest Funeral Home from the front office staff to Dean, Elizabeth and Scott were all so helpful, very kind, compassionate and understanding. They walked me through the process step by step. I had not anticipated feeling so supported. My father, myself and my family were treated with the utmost kindness, dignity and respect. I’m so grateful for this team of caring professionals who’ve helped me through one of the most difficult parts of my life.

They were very helpful and professional making the whole process very easy. Nate and his team are very caring and understanding, and they went above and beyond. This is not your regular funeral home where they only stick to their agenda, they're very open to your personal needs, from been able to use our own church and keep my daughter Itzel Espinoza at the church over night and provide transportation, even to her last ride by her house to my mom's house.. He works around your needs. I'm so happy with their services that I'm planning on been a returning customer, hopefully not any time soon.
