Tall Country is on my way to Breckenridge. I call ahead to order a bacon, egg, and cheese burrito. It’s usually the older couple running it and they are always friendly. The hot food is limited but good for fueling up for a day of skiing.

It’s nothing special but it’s not supposed to be. We always stop here to get gas, pick up snacks/soda on our way back to the Denver metro area after visiting the southwest corner of the state. So it’s not BMW drivers Muffy and Chad’s idea of roadside latte and biscuit quirkiness, but it’s a perfectly fine oasis for those with realistic expectations.

Good coffee. Clean restrooms. The older gentleman cashier was great and friendly. The lady was lovely and kind. A great place to stop and pick up what you need. From snacks to deodorant that have a wonderful selection.

Nothing really stood out here. Dirty gas station on the outside. Receipt paper out. Pumps could use a good wipe down. Large turning space for turning around trailers. Others in my party that went inside said the clerk was friendly overall. It did the job but the station further north on the west side of the road is better.

Foreign owned.
Hot Chocolate from machine was pure water. I asked them to put a refill in the mix. They said they would. Counter guy went back to pretend he was doing it... came back and said "It's ready now" so I filled up a cup and it was even waterier than before.
Cheapskate owners. This kind of stuff comes from the top management.

I love it here. The owners are sweet and she makes great hot food. Love their pizza. The older gentleman is so sweet amd always puts a smile on my face. Cheapest gas in town.

Only good thing is the positioning of this store in town I went in trying to buy food since every other store in town was closed and they looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for a bag first and made me pile up food on the counter to then later go up and pay for it all wouldn’t even give me a bag to fill then go pay for the products
