Treasure hunt to your heart’s delight. Loads of bargains, daily sales and just a good place for vintage finds. Beautify your home or yourself. Love the 50 cent bin! A couple dollars goes a long way.

This place has a lot of history, and it is the first Fayetteville thrift store. The people who work there are all volunteers, and because it is a non profit, all the proceeds go to fund nursing scholarships and community support organizations. The prices are lower than any of the other resale shops and I always find something. The current location is in the south area of town and some of the customers are homeless, looking for basic necessities. The store is old but well tended and clean. A good place to support. They accept credit and debit cards

I went to the Attic yesterday. The instant I stepped inside the front door, I was hit in the face with a very strong urine odor. It was almost unbearable. However, I was hunting down yarn, so I tolerated it. When I finally found their selection of yarns, I was very disappointed to see their prices for them. Most weren't even close to full skeins but priced way too high. I also looked at some perfume bottles which were priced too high. I probably won't come back. It smelled like a toilet.

They recently started accepting debit cards. There was an early lady at the front and I was trying to help her along with the credit card machine. She yelled at me and told me I messed everything up. I left. Will not be returning.

I stopped in one day and smiled at the two seniors working the front counter who were sitting in their chairs chatting, staring, complaining, where I had to hear everything they said while I was browsing throughout the store.

One of them named Maria, was also taking phone calls. She began shouting at the caller stating “ Im a volunteer “ (as if to say “don’t bug me I’m not getting paid to help you)! “

I went to the counter to pay - 10 minutes prior to closing. Maria stared at me like I was the plague- as I stayed til close to her closing time. I asked if they take debit. She pointed to the sign that says cash only. She Wouldnt speak just glared and pointed. I asked if I could return tomorrow to pay cash if she would set aside my items. Well guess what she yelled? “I don’t work here I’m a volunteer! “I said i’ll come back again (when she isn’t there)

What a horrible experience. This lady had an axe to grind with everyone. Definitely a wicked edge.. Guess I won’t be back for thrift therapy at the Attic….ever !

Love this little thrift! Always great prices and treasures. The ladies are always sweet and volunteer their time. They only take cash or check so don’t forget that part.

Clean, friendly, good place for basic clothing like shirts and pants. There are other things like pots, lamp shades, shoes and odds and ends but the my vast majority of stuff is clothing. They also have a variety of daily sales. Prices for thrift store are okay, but if you buy the things that are on sale that day then the prices are excellent. For example I bought two pair of very nice slacks that would have been $6 (total) but cost me 2.50 because they were on sale.
