I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the service I received during my visit to your establishmen. I came in with the expectation of a welcoming and enjoyable experience, as your website promotes an environment where “every sport” is showcased and enjoyed. Unfortunately, this was far from the reality I encountered.

During my visit, I politely approached one of your staff members, a light-skinned individual with dreadlocks, to request that one of the TVs be switched to the UFC fight. Given that there were multiple TVs available and I was a paying customer, I thought this was a reasonable request. Instead of responding professionally or respectfully, the individual flatly refused and dismissed me. To make matters worse, they later approached me in an aggressive manner that made me feel as though they were ready to escalate the situation further, rather than calmly resolving the issue.

What makes this experience even more disappointing is that several people around me mentioned that this particular staff member has a reputation for being rude to customers. This behavior directly contradicts the standard of service that any reputable establishment should strive for.

As someone who spent approximately $65 during my visit, I believe I deserved to be treated with basic respect and courtesy. I was not there out of charity, but as a paying customer who values and supports businesses. The decision to close my tab and refuse to serve me further was unnecessary and unprofessional.

There is a way to decline a request or address a situation without disrespect. Communication and tone matter greatly in customer service, and I strongly urge your team to prioritize proper training in these areas. Respecting your customers is crucial for fostering loyalty and promoting growth as a business.

I sincerely hope you will address this issue, both with the individual involved and at an organizational level, to prevent future incidents of this nature. I look forward to hearing how you plan to resolve this matter and ensure a better experience for your customers moving forward.

One of my coworkers told me about this spot cause I'm about that fat Tuesday life and vouched that the daiquiri was on point........ they was right. They also do a all you can eat brunch for about $40. My chicken and waffles was good just wished I had more but that's a fat boy problem. Pssst.....if you check in on yelp you get a free shot.... not the plastic bottle shot . Got myself casamigo..... You're welcome.

Went here for our vacation first night in the city and we came because happened to have happy hour the time we got in.
Got shots and they were literally sample sizes u get at a liquor store. $5 each
Then we got a drink $3 for a can.
Annnnd our food took like 45 mins to come out but it was alright they charged a $15 service fee ? But the atmosphere was amazing and our waitress was very nice also they search bags intensively guess the city being so rough and it being a bar but
Best part about the experience was the aesthetics setting other than that save your money unless you just wanna hookah.
If u want good food that’s worth it this isn’t the place but it’s just my experience
Regardless place worth a try tho.

Attended a Tuesday night comedy show. Food and drinks were delicious. Host and staff were amazingly accommodating. Happy Hour pricing is great but isn't available on Tuesdays.

Stopped in before a show thinking I would be able to grab a few drinks and a quick bite. When I entered, I was immediately greeted by the bartender and asked if what I wanted as a drink. Ordered my drink and asked about food options. She told me the chef wouldn't be in for another 30 minutes. That was the last interaction I had with the bartender before settling up.

There were only about 10 people in the restaurant for the hour I stayed. During that time, the bartender smoked hookah with three guests at the other end of the bar, and didn't acknowledge anyone unless someone walked in or up to her. With each update on the chef's arrival I was told soon, and was not asked for an additional drink. Seemed like a cool spot but service can really ruin an experience.

The drink special was bomb Cinco De Mayo weekend. The vibe was vibing, I love finding a place where people of color can come out and have a great time w/no issues. The DJ was dope too, the only eh thing I can say is the food was a really long wait we ended up having to get a refund but we didn't trip bc we were bar hopping. We will definitely be back tho!

If u go there u have to get the wings and the crab fries they were really good. They also have the best happy hour in dc they got amazing deals. The hookah is also 10/10.I suggest you go and check it out.
