I am so happy I made the drive over here. I love saving where I can and decided to try this store out. I'm so glad I did. It definitely is hidden away, when you turn into the lot there is a huge sign that points you to the right door. There were only a few people here when I came in on a Friday at 4. I wish I would have come earlier to really dig through the spices and sauces because there were several bins full of various spices. There are several rows of non-perishables. I came on a weekend that they had a lot of good quality yogurts and eggs as well as really good quality cat food. There is a freezer with chopped and sealed frozen veggies that I raided. The selection rotates weekly. The owners are WONDERFUL and made me feel really welcome and told me more about the history of the store. It's definitely a drive for me but it's well worth it. Happy to support this store and even more happy that it exists.

We love this store! Great prices on everyday grocery items. They had tons of fresh produce this week. You never know what you will find. My husband loves to grab a few 25 cent candy bars. Can’t find a better deal and the owners are the sweetest.

We have been coming here for years, the owner was a customer of mine and he wasn't even the one to tell me about the place. We get great deals on a lot of our canned goods, and we even find some things that we can't find at the local supermarket. Today, it was strawberry bread mix. It's from Super Salad so I'm sure it's wonderful!! It definitely helps to shop here to get your dry goods when you are on a budget!! Plus, they accept food stamps as well! Just let them know before he starts ringing you up, so he can make the proper adjustment on the register!! Love this place!

This place is truly amazing. The owners are incredibly kind, and the store has a wide variety of products, including dairy and fresh produce. One week they had cartons of a dozen eggs for $1!

Sure, some of the items are sometimes priced higher than rock-bottom sales prices at regular grocery stores, but who cares? They have so many great buys and it's such a pleasant shopping experience! I just alternate my weekly shopping trips between this store and Safeway and I'm able to save a ton of money on my grocery bills.

This is a one of a kind store that rescues food and resells it for highly reduced prices. You can find many grocery store items here, many would be close to expiration date or damaged boxes. I give five stars because for what they do, it's exactly what you should expect. This is a great resource for people on a tight budget or low income to find anything from fresh veggies, frozen meats and cheeses and anything else. Store contents vary from week to week.

My family has been going to The Friday Store for over 8 years. We love the selection of dry, frozen and fresh foods. They also have discounted health products, hiyge products, food and pet supplies. For our large family its a great place for us to get most of what we need at a great price.

My local store similar to this is going out of business because the building they lease has been sold so I was hoping to find it as a replacement with the great reviews. I will agree that some of the prices were good, especially on beans and such. However, I was surprised to see how far past the expiration date many of these items were, like two years past. And being 2 years past expiration, I would expect lower prices.
