Went to The Gun Store the first time over Black Friday weekend. I've been on a search for one of my dream rifles, a Marlin 1894 SBL .357. After visiting a few other local stores and calling a few more, I was ready to put off my search for a few weeks. My dad and I were in the area and decided to stop in, we've heard a lot about the store but never looked into it.

We were impressed by the huge inventory they have, and headed over to the lever actions. Not only did they have my Marlin, they had THREE of them! Christian came over to help me out, pulled one off the wall for me and struck up some friendly conversation. Super nice guy! He also made it very clear there was no pressure to purchase and to take my time with it, which I haven't really experienced anywhere else. The owner Lester joined the conversation and made us feel as though we were already long time customers.

When it came time to do the paperwork, it was a really efficient and painless process, done mostly on a tablet. As I was walking out, Christian came over to my father and I, shook my hand and wished us a Merry Christmas. We found our new favorite shop!

No other Gun Shop is somewhat even comparable to these guys, the people that work there are the best, Les is a legend and knows everything about everything when it comes to firearms! I will never go anywhere, but there, they take great care of me, prices are so competitive, the quality of their work is unbelievable! You will not be let down if you're in the market for a new firearm or even ammunition, not just that, but all of the stuff they carry is top-notch, I bought so much from them, safes, you name it! , Some of my paycheck, I have an allotment taken out so I can go there every month and buy whatever I want. That's just satire, but I should do that, lol. You want knowledge, courtesy, and respect by the best of the business, you know where to go, the gun store, hands-down!

My father and I are both gun guys and own many fire arms we like to go and check out the different stores thru out connecticut we've been to the gun store twice and even though we didn't purchase anything we both agreed that this is the type of place we both love..super friendly and everyone working there engaged with us and offered assistance in anyway they could help us....was a great experience and we will definitely be back!! They also have an amazing selection of just about everything you could want or need from a gun store and the prices are right on point.

Friendly staff, competitive prices, an extremely large selection and variation of firearms. I was completely new to firearms and showed up with a list of guns I was interested in, the staff were very friendly and gave me their time, attention, focus and personal suggestions whenever I had a question. EVERYONE in the store was friendly and approachable, everyone seemed like they truly enjoyed being there. I have no problem taking the 40 minute drive to make my firearm purchases.

This place is absolutely amazing. It's huge, for one, has an enormous inventory, and the staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I drive 60 miles in each direction just to go to this place, because if there's a better gun store in Connecticut, I haven't found it. They also have in-house holsters (Patriotware Holsters, I have quite a few of theirs), gunsmithing, and from talking to the employees, a lot of them are firearms instructors, former LEO's, etc., so they know their stuff. A fantastic place.

Dropped off 2 of my handguns to get night sights installed. Staff was very friendly and they have a huge selection of ammo and firearms. The gunsmith did a great job with the sight install on both of my firearms. Great place.

Staff is helpful and nice. They have knowledge with the questions you ask. The selection is decent. The prices are not bad, 300$ - thousands. Colored and designed guns.

Very organized store, they helped me pick out my first firearm and answered all my questions. They don't work on commission so it was nice to not be pushed to purchase something more expensive.
