This shop is so fun and such a fun spot. Cathy and her son are a delight!! Very welcoming. Great local knowledge. The Gelato was amazing. Mint chocolate chip was my favorite. Thank you for a great first experience.

On a beautiful Sunday, my daughter and I decided to treat ourselves and stopped into The Milky Way for the first time. What a charming little spot!

The front sitting area and storefront have a retro and charming vibe, and the place is impeccably kept. We were greeted with warm smiles the moment we walked in. The staff were incredibly friendly and offered us samples of gelato until we found the perfect flavor to satisfy our cravings.

The shop also has an array of unique gifts and trinkets, including some cleverly displayed in a vending machine. While I didn’t try the coffee this time, their menu looked impressive, featuring a variety of options and a great selection of loose leaf teas. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back and trying those out.

My favorite part (besides the engaging personalities of the staff) was the beautiful sitting area behind the store. Gorgeous planters well appointed, a gazebo, and many other sitting options; it was the perfect spot to savor our gelato and soak up some sunshine.

The Milky Way is a gem in Palisade, and I can’t wait to return to explore more of what they have to offer!

We stopped to get gelato here and it was AMAZING. I've only had gelato this good in Rome. We tried the passion fruit and lemon. Staff was nice and it was very affordable.

There's also some knick-knacks for sale in the store and a really nice back patio for outdoor seating.

What a charming place! We were celebrating a special birthday and it was the perfect place to delight everyone. And our birthday guest got her treat for free. Not to mention how delicious our treats were!

Such a cute place! Friendly staff and good atmosphere. I got the Peach Matcha (with oat milk) which was DELICIOUS. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

We've been here a few times now, and it never disappoints! Good coffee, yummy breakfast, personable staff, and a cute retro-space aesthetic make for a great morning stop or break from wine tasting! We love coming by!

This place is great. The Gelato is great and the setting is great too. There is a great covered back patio area with tables and couches to chill as well.

Palisade is a tiny town with very few options but NOW we have a great breakfast nook that also serves gelato. Very affordable and beautiful decor. Definitely check out their back patio!
