The Skilled Nursing staff at the Moorings has a great team of devoted professionals who all work tirelessly and are committed to the residents well being. All of mom’s needs were met in a clean and comfortable environment. The entire staff, including the Executive Director are all approachable and are always available to answer any questions. The unit is filled with friendly smiles, warmth, kindness and wonderful care. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a caring and supportive environment for their loved ones. A huge thank you to the wonderful team for their dedication!

Originally owned by the Cadbury family, this senior community has a wide choice of housing options from independent living to their JCAHO certified skilled nursing facility. All residents share a common dining room, or get short order food from the bistro. Lots of activities and services provided.

Over the course of 3 1/2 weeks of rehab for a hip surgery, my dad was cared for by a number of therapists, aides, nurses and even a dietician. All exhibited professionalism and the desire to help my dad get back on his feet-literally! We appreciate all The Moorings staff who helped during a challenging time for our family.

After my mom had 4 surgeries in 9 days and spent 16 days in the hospital, she needed rehabilitation including wound care. I was grateful The Moorings accepted the challenge! The staff worked tirelessly to ensure all her needs were met and spoiled her with chocolate ice cream. Every staff member was kind and gentle as she was in a lot of pain. They used advanced technology and equipment to help her recover. The staff cared for us with hugs and tears as visits became increasingly tough. Although my mom's body was tired and she went to her heavenly home, I know she had the best care possible during her last 6 weeks on earth. You exceeded our expectations and made a difference in all of our lives. We are forever grateful for the excellent care of my mother! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!

The Moorings has provided a facility that provides all the needs of those who have aged to the point where they need help. The help is way beyond medical and dining facilities. Fun things galore are available with staff help. Off campus trips with staff help are many.
Staff is both at hand and capable. Housing is hotel style and cottages, take your pick. Of course, medical help is always present.

To say that my family and I are blessed by the care that the team at the Moorings have given my mother would be an understatement. Through the years, the team has taken every opportunity to ensure that my mother, Karen, was well taken care of and happy. "Happy" is the difference!

My mother has been through Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and in every step we have witnessed the greatest care imaginable. Ruth and I have lived at The Moorings for more than 13 years now, and it has been a great experience and a good decision for us to come aboard. For most of those years, we had our own independent living cottage, along with al of the social opportunities we desired. With our recent move to Assisted Living because of our increasing mobility limitations, we have now taken advantage of all of the levels of care here, including the Skilled Nursing unit comparable to hospital care, and we continue to be impressed and pleased with the support of the pleasant, positive, and helpful nursing staff here.
