Wow! Firstly, I’m shocked it took me this long to write the folks at The Paper Bag a review because i used to frequent this place when it was on tower road/archer and every time i left i felt like i just bit into a little piece of heaven, so sorry for the late review, but here it

If you’re a local or passing through, this place is worth all the hype everyone is talking about, the service is great, the food is even better and the prices are very fair!

I seem to revert back to the Cuban quite a bit, but it’s because it’s the best out there.. there’s no other spot that does it better than this one (pictured).

Come enjoy a beer in their patio or a quick lunch, either way, you’ll be more than satisfied!

Went to this place with my grandma. I got the chefs special and it was amazing.
Staff was amazing and friendly, and food was made fast and everything was delicious. There was even free drink refills! Sandwich was so big. I only ate half! Would definitely recommend going here on your lunch break

Great service, but it's definitely not as good as the downtown location (or the 1st experience there)
The sandwich seemed smaller than usual, and they were out of salad the 1st day of the week. Some seating inside and outside. Plenty of parking. Chips are way too expensive ($4.5😵‍💫😵‍💫). The godfather didn't seem to be a big difference in the sandwich.

Was super excited for this location to open up and it has not disappointed. One of the place places to get a sandwich on Gainesville. I can't just pick one sandwich to recommend since they're all amazing, including breakfast! Not only is the food delicious, but the staff is wonderful. They're always super welcoming and friendly towards everyone who comes in. Paperbag deli is an amazing addition to the community.

I am always on the lookout for a good sandwich shop! The Paper Bag did not disappoint. I got the Brooklyn Bomber figuring I would try a classic before venturing off into some of their more custom options like a sandwich with French toast for the bread! This sandwich was a perfect size and tasted amazing. Looking forward to many more as sandwiches when I am in the area.

Everything was delicious! The service was great too but what I loved the most it’s that they have gluten free bread option, probably this was the only thing that was keeping me from visiting this place, maybe they should advertise more. We will be back

The food is wonderful but lordy this place needs ventilation. My eyes were watering the whole time, it was smokey inside, and my hair/clothes smelled horribly until I could get home and wash everything. To sum up: come here it's delicious, but wear clothes you're not planning on wearing long

I would rate this a SOLID 4.5 stars. The only reason I am not giving all five stars, is because I ate here just this once. Otherwise, all the different options that I ate were amazing. Don't sleep on this one 🫣
Being from South Florida it is always hard trying to order a good Cuban sandwich in G'ville, but they hit it out the park. Y'all better take my word for it and get over here soon!
