The waitress wasn’t the friendliest. Not rude or anything but just wasn’t very social. The pastrami Reuben is the way to go but 100%! We went on a Thursday and they have special tacos. Everything is made fresh from scratch. You can taste it. You literally take one bite and you know that you’re eating real food that was just prepared for you. It’s one of the best places I’ve been with the Small menu and really really good quality food

Gotta give it up for the Goat...

1:30 Saturday afternoon, party of 9 and we all wanted to try the pastrami or brisket.

Sadly, they were out of both.

Ok, so I went for the Azalea Chicken sandwich-excellent!
Crispy, crunchy, juicy and seasoned perfectly.
Ordered the onion strings for a side and they were fantastic, loved em.

Also on the menu kids ordered Burgers, and wife had the French toast, which was super delicious.

Kids loved the burgers, finished them off quickly.

When the ticket came our server surprised us with a 20% comp on the bill for the pastrami and brisket being unavailable.

I think the only downside is the inside of the restaurant is somewhat small, the outside seating is plentiful, although in the summer probably not ideal.

That aside, the Salted Goat was a hit and salute to the staff and management for great service all the way around!

A super cute and comfortable restaurant with some of the best food in Volusia County. Everything is so high quality and you can taste the different flavors that have been developed by their chef! I’d say it’s on the pricier end but you get what you pay for, it’s not overly expensive and you can taste how fresh everything is. They also made accommodations for my birthday dinner and i’m super grateful! 10/10 can’t wait to come back again!!

Love the atmosphere of the place. Very casual, and great music. Our waiter was terrific and very attentive to is, providing suggestions on favorites and specialties. We ordered the holy molé duck tostadas to start; and we were not disappointed! I wanted to try the Charred octopus, and it was absolutely exquisite. The texture was perfect, and it paired amazingly with the red sauce. I ordered a side of the broccolini too, and it was amazing on its own as well. To end, I enjoyed a lovely Lemon tarragon creame brûlée. It was tangy and sweet at the same time, and it was the perfect amount of sweetness to end the meal. I will absolutely be returning here 🩷

The Salted Goat has a unique and refreshing menu you don’t find at most restaurants in the area. Their fresh, farm to table themed menu isn’t the most extensive menu, but it should have something to please your tastes buds and it all sounded very delicious. I was very happy with what I ordered. Come give them a try!

This is the best food we’ve had in a long time!! Everything is so fresh and I love that the ingredients come from local farms. Don’t even think about it, just come here to eat next time you’re looking for a restaurant with good food. I didn’t get a picture of the artichoke dip but WOW 10/10. The chef knows what he’s doing!! And we love Britney (hope I’m spelling her name right) but she was amazing 🙂

Wow! I can't believe we didn't learn of this restaurant sooner. After a friend told me about it, my husband and adult son came to dine here. I made reservations and we arrived with a table sign held for us. I was apprehensive since there weren't many tables occupied. Why? I have no idea because our meal was amazing. Grilled octopus, crab cannelloni and smashed burger were our meals and I honestly couldn't tell you which was better. The chocolate crème brûlée was rich and satisfying. I cannot wait to return and try some other items in their menu. And our waitress, Raven, was excited to share the restaurants history and her love for the owner. If I had any personal critique is the curb appeal and decor doesn't provide the justice that the menu shows. If it were elevated, it would feel more like a true date-night place to dress up for. But I would trade decor for taste any day. So worth it!! Oh don't forget to try one of their crafted cocktails. Looking forward to trying their version of a Paloma.

This is a great spot! Food is so tasty, fresh and unique. The music is fun and not too loud. The staff are friendly and attentive. They grow some of their own food. We keep going back. The creme brulee french toast is better than any ive had at a restaurant.
