My wife bought a 2024 Grand Highlander on Saturday from Tee, this was our 3rd Toyota purchased at Torrington Toyota. Tee was fast to respond to our email request, incredibly helpful, and the process could not have been easier. The team had her new SUV ready to go, no long wait at the dealership, and gave a full tutorial on how to use all the new technology upon our arrival. The owner Dave even came out to help transfer the kids car seats from the old vehicle to the new one. Shout out to Jesus for an easy paperwork process as well. Great team, awesome experience. I have had three encounters with this dealership and every single one of them has been less than mediocre. The lack of professionalism and overall unawareness of human decency, was extremely revolting. The fact that dealerships already have A certain stigma attached to them, Having an encounter with Torrington Toyota, just validate the disgusting taste in everyone’s mouth about dealerships. From someone who has been in Customer Service for 10 years, but also has Sold cars myself, it is extremely disappointing to know that a dealership in my hometown is functioning this way. I would not recommend anyone to buy a car from here. Not only because of the unsustainable salesmen but also sales and finance managers. Besides the overall physical appearance of the dealership, the training for the staff within it needs to be readdressed.
