If I could give this place a zero star I would! They are in the business to cheat the residents that live in the town of Smyrna, it ridiculous. When you go into the direct office, they are always hiding behind the desks, and are little to no help. Not to mention, the amount of rude encounters I have experienced with them personally. No wonder why they have so many signs in their office about profanity and cell phone usage, because people are fed up with how they go about handling things. Even when you are attempting to pay your bill online, it’s so outdated, you are not able to. This company will literally shut your electric off over $2. It’s sad and pathetic. It’s a shame there is no efficient higher up that you’re able to speak to in order to raise complaints to. Yet, taxes are doubling in Smyrna and this is the result residents get. This company is 100% lo Egregious. I don’t know how this pace has 3 stars. And all the reviews from 6 years ago about it being “good” needs to be taken the hell down, because it’s false, and times have changed completely; for
the WORST. This office is poorly ran.

This town has MAJOR issues with their electrical department. They use their electric bill to fund the police department. The Electric expense is more than double any other neighboring town… the power is out in SMYRNA 5-10 times a month for unknown reasons with unknowns ETA for repairs! Very frustrating!

Calling this place drives me nuts. They never answer the phone it return voicemails, but Everytime I go in there ( because it's the only resort to getting sometimes resolved) everybody is there just sitting at their desk. It is so annoying to watch. It's bad enough that everything is so behind the times here. Our taxes get doubled, but the Town can't answer the phone.

I’ve been living in the town of Smryna for about 4 years now, and I absolutely hate it. If I could move I would. They are literally robbing people with these high electrical/ water prices. Then the trash people miss my can & recycle at least 2 Fridays out the month causing me to have to call in each Monday to have it taken care of, why do I pay for trash if it’s not going to be collected on time?

The electric department is awesome. Whenever we lose electricity they are on top of it . Dosen't matter if it is a nice day or if its cold and unpleasant they are out there taking care of the citizens. Those people are truly dedicated. Thanks . You are the best.The ladies in the office where you pay your taxes and utility bills are awesome too. No one enjoys paying bills but the ladies that work there make it a pleasurable experience .

The office for the Town of Smyrna is right next to the Smyrna Post Office. Although they close at 4:30, there is a box outside to drop off your electric bills after hours. Inside the staff is very nice and they keep the line moving pretty fast. Very friendly staff.

Overall the town of Smyrna is business friendly. The ease to open and start doing business is fast. The only reason for the 4 star is I subtracted a star due to how expensive the Electric is here in town.
