This used to be a really delicious place. Since new ownership we’ve had nothing but problems with the food. They’ll read the order back to you before you leave, you come home and something will still be wrong. They’ve forgotten chicken too many times. They forget sides, and the quality is sub par. Tonight I got a chicken Caesar salad that had dressing dripping from it and tasted like mayonnaise. They gave me the wrong type of chicken also. It was the worst salad I’ve had in my life. The bread that came with it was stale and soggy. I ate the chicken out of it after wiping the gross dressing off and threw the rest away.
I keep going back hoping to get the food the way it used to be but that’s just not the case.
I think this was it for me.

We have been eating here and ordering from here since 2002. Yes, ownership has changed. Yes, they employ local teenagers as it’s a great in-town job. If you have a deadline or even just a question, why not mention it when you order? I think they would do their best to accommodate you. Has every single thing we’ve ordered from them over the past 22 years across two sets of unrelated owners been perfect? No, probably not, but odds are that a few mistakes will be made and things will happen over hundreds of instances. But you know what? I don’t remember any of those times. I just remember a family-owned local restaurant with damn good thin crust NY pizza, pasta, salad, and garlic bread. A restaurant that has always been a valuable part of its community. Try the buffalo chicken pizza or the Grandma’s pizza — or just stick with your regular favorites. And ask for double cut if it makes your life easier. 🙂

The garlic knots are delicious! Always have been! The meatball grinder however was a large and only had 2 meatballs which were cut in half on it…… I think a large should have atleast 4 meatballs.. Good meatballs but the sauce on it was kinda bland and cold.. I’ve def had better! Not bad for the price though

We've gotten takeout occasionally through the last few years. A few days ago we had 3 issues with our takeout order. First, it took 3 calls for someone to answer the phone. The worker said they were short staffed. Second, our chicken ranch pizza had zero chicken and was very thrown together. Third, it was cut really badly -- two of the slices were huge, each covering a plate. The other four were smaller. Not just a little difference -- lack of attention to detail. Voting with my money, going elsewhere. Too bad because we used to like it but started seeing a little decline our last order before this with a salad that wasn't fresh. Now, I'd never recommend it.

The pizza was excellent. Great sauce, great crust, and the meat, sausage and pepperoni, had excellent flavor. The service was disappointing. My bread with oil came out at the same time as the pizza. I ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza, and for the first time in my life (and I've ordered a LOT of pizza) it came out half and half. The server never checked back on me and my drink remained empty. The food alone would get five stars but service cost a star.

The quality of service has gone down substantially in recent years... When it first changed owners, I remember two employees arguing loudly in front of several customers. Since then, there's always new staff behind the counter who don't seem to care about cleanliness or service. Today we went to grab a few slices & when we walked in, there was a young kid eating at the cash register, who then wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, then wiped his nose. I thought we would be okay since a different employee came to put the slices in the oven..but after that person walked back off, the first guy forgot them in the oven and burned them. He only realized we were still waiting when we got up and asked. When removing them from the oven he stacked the 3 slices onto one plate (we ordered to go) and as a slice almost fell, he caught it against his shirt. We opted to get our money back and leave. It's clear he has no training in restaurant etiquette and perhaps should not be working unsupervised in the front.
It's a shame the service lacks, because the pizza itself is usually good.
