Whips n Furs was such a pleasant surprise. I went with my friend to look for Halloween costumes and was pleasantly surprised with the vintage clothing options available as well as the costume selection. The owner of the store is very nice and helpful and went above and beyond to assist me. I also love this queer owned space! 10/10 - support local for your Halloween costumes this year and vintage clothing needs.

I'm very happy to have a year round costume store nearby again! San Diego has been a costume desert since Buffalo Breath closed. Whips and Furs has the typical packaged costumes but also has more unique things on the racks and amongst the accessories. There’s also a small, well-curated section of vintage clothes in the back, I found jeans from the 90’s that fit me better than any of my newer jeans ever have. Welcome to north park, cute store!

Store is perfect for getting anything theatrical or Halloween. They have everything from shoes to makeup (Everything!) . The place had a great vibe and the clerk at the counter was inviting . I would definitely recommend this place to a friend and would come here again !
