This was a different local outing in Polk County. It was very interesting and fun to explore. Make advance reservations through their website. The tour was closer to 2 hours with some extra time to wander the grounds afterwards, so I’d definitely budget a little extra time at the end there. The guide was great and knowledgeable. I did have my young kids (6 and 10) with me. I would say that everyone was friendly to them, including the guide, but they were not very interested in the tour. If I were to do this again I would leave them at home lol

The history of the house is amazing. The way the house was designed with door after door. All leading to the main part of the house was interesting. The water system to the courtyard was very interesting.

This is a 90 minute guide tour of the Wonder House. This is a house built in the 1920s with a fascinating history and decor. Don't let the unkempt yard scare you. Well worth the $25 fee which goes to the restoration of the house and property

Wonder House is very interesting. The lady that was our guide was not to my liking she was all over the map with her stories and when asked questions she said we will get back to that but never did. I felt people had very good questions that I was looking forward to hearing the answers but she never got back with the answers.

You have to buy tickets online and in advance. There are limited times that the tour is available. I liked it, but it felt a bit incomplete, and it would have been nice to explore the sub and sub sub basements, which are off limits. They are currently trying to put it together, which they can, through the money you pay to have the tour. They only take cash as well. It's a neat place, with some amazing history, and I would recommend it, but it will be better once completed. Reminded me of Bok Towers.

Wonderful experience, there is SO much history about this house might need a few trips to get all of it! Besides usual tours on the house there are seasonal tours/events for Halloween and Christmas. The house dog on the tour with us was so wholesome 💖 Highly recommend!

Original Florida attraction from the 1930s, this concrete and steel house has many unique and innovative features.

Tours are available on weekends by the current owner. They are cash only and must be booked online.
