Wonderful orchard with store and bakery. The store was incredible with both farm goods and local goods. The bakery was absolutely delicious. You pick apples were great and well organized.

This is our second year going here and there are a ton of things I love. Last year we went for the apple cider donuts, which were fresh and delicious. We also bought mums, which are beautiful and reasonably priced. Less expensive than ones at the grocery store, and better quality. This year we also picked apples. A ton of variety! The only thing I don’t love is that it is all uphill. That’s tough for me, and I’m sure others. So don’t recommend the apple picking here if you do struggle with that. But, also tried one of their bagels and the dill cream cheese. SO GOOD. It’s a nice place, and definitely worth checking out on a nice fall day!

I used to live at the Inn at Woodstock Hill (2 "doors" down) and would pick all the blueberries for the blueberry muffins that Kirsten, our Danish pastry chef, would make for breakfast. I was telling a friend about the story and was so thrilled to see the farm and market were still there. What a testament to quality, care, and longevity! How wonderful to see the continued success.

We happened to be in the area this past Saturday. We both love supporting local agriculture so we stopped in. There were peaches out on one of the displays and I got all excited because they looked absolutely beautiful. I know I’m a few days late I’m posting this, but when I took a peach out to eat on this past Tuesday, it was completely brown and did not taste right. The peaches look absolutely beautiful on the outside, but they were not good. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but these peaches were pretty bad.

A hidden gem in CT! The breakfast goodies are all top notch. Their bagels are as close to a NY bagel as I’ve found out here. Wish they had some meats/cheeses for true bagel sandwiches but their cream cheeses make up for it. Extremely friendly staff. Worth a stop!

I have always loved it here and have been going since I was a kid, this is not regarding product at all.

For context; I took my children tonight to pick out their pumpkins, as I do every year. My daughter (who is 4) touches the top of one and started screaming in pain. My partner and I then spent the following half hour trying to get about little fiberglass type shards of out of her hand while she sobbed.

The reason I am upset is because my partner picked up the pumpkin and brought it inside to give it to the lady so no other kids would get hurt. When I quickly explained how there was glass on the pumpkin and how my daughter had a bunch of glass in her hand, her only response was a very dry and skeptical "well, I don't see why there would be glass on the pumpkins". When he gave her the pumpkin and I explained that that was the one she said "okay" again, dryly. No apology, no concern, she also did not go to make sure the other pumpkins were clean, nor call someone else to, she just continued doing stuff inside, even though there were still kids out there that could also have gotten hurt. We put what we were going to buy back at that point and on my way out I suggested that she maybe make sure the other pumpkins are safe. She just said "okay" again and we left. I'm not sure if she checked after we left but use caution and check before your littles touch them.

Really cute little place to get some quality local produce, yummy baked goods, fantastic cider donuts, delicious apples and apple cider. It's small so you might miss it, but if you notice the sign as you're driving, turn around, you'll be glad you did.

Just had the best cookie from the bakery. It was the heath bar chocolate cookie. Crispy and chewy, big as my face and just as delicious. "I'll be back" is an understatement. Wow. Buy something from this bakery NOW!
